Almost 2016 and still have 2-3hrs+ maintenance?

1-2 hours? They do maintenance every day for about 30 mins or so, occasionally an hour... the only time they go beyond that is if they are patching the game.

For ESO, this is the SECOND all-day 'server maintenance' that we've gone through in less than two months!! This SAME EXACT THING happened a short time ago... took down PC-NA for maintenance which also killed the PC-EU server... they scrambled to get things back online about nine hours later- only to have to take servers down again the following day to finish.

A simple answer to this question is obvious to anyone who knows the game in detail, the ESO developers are really not that great. This is not the fault of the developers themselves, upper management is clueless in this game and it trickles down into so many areas including bad.. procedures, plans, hires, politics and tons of BS.

Legitimate question. If I hated a game as much as you seem to, I would uninstall it and walk away.

I don't hate the game. That doesn't mean I consider it the most perfect creation ever made and its devs as demi-gods tho.
