I tried to submit a support ticket on this matter, but given that in the process of making the ticket I had to provide the old, non-existant e-mail address for the account to be identified, and I don't see anywhere for me to review the ticket itself using the number the site gave me after I submitted the ticket, I don't have high hopes on being able to receive any response they might give. As such, I'm reposting the ticket content here in hopes of being able to actually receive a response on the forums (which did not require access code verification for me to log-in from my new computer, and I've now changed the e-mail associated with the forum account to my new e-mail address).
My problem is nearly identical to the one posted by the OP in this thread:
http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/228302/cant-login-to-game-or-support-site-need-email-changed though I did go through the Can't Log In process and attempt to submit a ticket on my own.
If it helps anyone reading this, the ticket number I was given was 151207-000255. I would greatly appreciate it if I could get a ZeniMax response on this.
My ticket stated:
"My account is neither suspended nor compromised (to my knowledge), but I didn't see a better section to put this in as I do remember my UserID and password but still can't log in.
I am trying to log in to my ESO account from a new computer, but there's 2 problems:
1: I have changed internet providers since I created the account, and so no longer have access to the e-mail address that is currently registered to the account (it no longer exists). This means I can't receive the verification code that the website tries to send me when I attempt to log in.
2: I no longer have the original computer that was used to log in and create the account, so I can't change the e-mail address that is registered to the account on my end.
All I need is for the e-mail address registered to the account to be changed to one that I can access. If possible, please change it to: glipocalypse2012@gmail.com
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
P.S.: One of the Account Ownership Verification questions asked me to provide a payment method as a means of verification. I don't believe I actually have any payment method associated with the account yet, as I have only played the game during beta and never paid for a subscription or bought the game by any means. I'm only just now trying to get the account back because a friend recently purchased the game for me via Steam, which I am now unable to redeem to my account because I can't log in."
