Cannot load any characters - but can login fine (after creating a new toon..)

Just a weirdy... I created a new toon and after this tried to login.. and it times out and returns me to the password screen when trying to load *any* of my characters..
I don't have any idea what has happened as support seem dead to the world atm... (beyond level 1 type stuff) 151128-001694 if anyone from ESO is watching this forum atm..
.. but just in case this is a real issue, I'd suggest don't create any new toons just in case..
