It's the best when it happens during Maelstrom and drops you down to 5 fps, happens nearly every single run I doMoonshadow66 wrote: »It's a feature now? Did I miss that, too?
The FPS are ok on my end, EXCEPT for Orsinium (city) where it frequently drops down to 15-20 (from otherwise constant 60). Riding through this city is nearly impossible, it's like rush-hour traffic with a lot of stop-and-go.

Or when I'm standing still talking in guild chats doing nothing I get an FPS drop
I believe the issue is the memory leaks causing this that the game has had since betaSeptimus_Magna wrote: »If you have fps drops and want stable 60 fps you can turn off bump mapping. My systems specs are 4,0GHz CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, GTX 970 4GB GPU and 512GB SSD. With these specs I should not be getting fps drops but unfortunatly you need to reduce the visual quality to enjoy pvp and other busy area's.

This has nothing to do with specs. After reloaded UI, the game runs smooth again (for a while), same setting, same AoE pull.

Its not really an option to reload UI in pvp so if you want stable fps I would advise to turn off bump mapping.
View distance also has a lot of impact on your fps but in pvp your want to set this to max ofc.

And THAT is the problem. Since it seem like the fps drop wasn't cause of specs, because the game still run normally even in the same situation after UI reload. Lower setting will help the stable fps get better but doesn't help this random fps drop.

Believe me, in pvp, my game look like minecraft. Lower everything I could.
This is not what we are talking aboutSeptimus_Magna wrote: »TheDarkShadow wrote: »Septimus_Magna wrote: »1) reduce your settings (bump mapping off, reduce view distance etc)

It doenst have to look like a '90 game, try running it on high, optinal settings turned off (except grass) and turn bump mapping off in the user settings (normal maps = 0).
This removed the fps drops in pvp for me, even when fighting larger groups.

FPS drop is completely randomly dropping from 80fps to 10fps. Has nothing to do with the users end, it's been reported to happen to a lot of people for about 20 seconds to a minute.
