Is this game now BETTER than Heavensward?

The games while both being MMO's are vastly different.

I think that FFXIV has made significant changes and have come a very long way to a better game all together.

Playing this game though feels more emmersive than playing FFXIV, especially with the combat. Now who's to say that they feel the combat is better in FFXIV, it really just comes down to prefrence.

On the topic of the community being listened to and all that by the game designers. That is also more of a cultral difference between ASIA and US. There is a massive difference when it comes to goods and service that you will never understand until you go over there and see it for yourself. Easiest way to experience it is fly JAL (Japan Air Lines) and fly United.....

ESO to me is by far a better game in that the combat system is the best out there. FFXIV is way cleaner and well designed with a lot less bugs. Again, it all comes down to prefrence.

    A. Yes
    B. No

Depending on what you're looking for, it will be either A or B.

Rift held my attention till they went deep sea diving and I just wasn't into all that. Tera did for little bit but I couldn't get into the combat but the world looked nice.

That was actually more or less what happened with me. The deep sea content, even if nice, was....bland.

Tera still has the best melee combat of any MMO out there, it's just a pity the rest of the game doesn't follow . :(

I am currently playing FF14 now cause I have 2 friends and we all want to do end game raiding content.

In my opinion, combat is the product you buy when you play an MMO. Using that thought and thinking of it like a ganeric business, ESO and FF14 are completely opposites.

ESO is an amazing product with atrocious systems and FF14 is amazing systems and an atrocious product.

ESO combat is the best there is but the multiplayer focus stinks, the group content stinks, the end game stinks, and the games general direction and identity stinks.

FF14 has a terrible combat system but the group finder works well, the questing works well, the fate system works well, the endgame is well defined with clear progression and direction.

Bottom line: ESO is amazing product with bad execution and ff14 is bad product with amazing execution.
I'm kind of a small deal!

This is one of the best comments I've read all day :P

I played Rift from Beta until after the F2P and loved it only because I had a lot of friends to play with.

TERA was the most fun I've ever had as a Healer. I loved the fast-paced "frantic-ish" game-play. I absolutely *hate* that "Asian-y feel"...be it Anime or in a game...but I had so much fun Healing there I looked past it. I simply couldn't get my friends to tolerate the grind of leveling...even after I had them take advantage of the "Free Level 58 Toon" deal they did back in 2013.

As for ESO, I *love* it and will not be going anywhere for a VERY long time, if ever, unless they *really* screw up.
Wake up, we're here. Why are you shaking? Are you ok? Wake up...

Matter of opinion questions, to some yes to some no, all depends on your personal preference, most games have it's good points and bad points once again personal preference.

They are two very different MMO's.

Whereas I enjoyed FF XIV for a short burst, the cartoony elements just got too much for me. Though I do love a Chocobo.

The reason I will always stick here is because it is Elder Scrolls. There is no game lore that is more fascinating to me.

That is the ONLY reason I'm here @JD2013 . I love the elder scrolls. If it weren't for that I wouldn't be playing ESO. I really hope ZOS continues to make ESO more elder-scrollsy. The Justice System was a great addition. We need more game wide immersion upgrades like that.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.
