What's with the pet based stamina set?

I tested it on PTS and it was quite nice. Nothing I'd personally use for PvE but I can see it being used in a unique PvP build. Breaking it down, it ~250 HP/Stam per second. There are surely better 5pc bonuses. But the idea is really nice.

These kind of 5 piece bonuses are ....I dunno, lackluster. They will never beat the 5pc bonuses like Hundings or Seducer or Julianos etc

You cant compare them though. For someone wanting better use of their pets, then to them, THIS IS the best set for them. Believe it or not some people actually play this game for fun rather than a job. Besides, what kind of question is that anyway (@ op)? Im glad there are variations in set bonuses etc, not EVERYTHING has to always increase your damage by 'x' amount and it would be boring as hell if it did. Not EVERYONE always just goes for the typical 'sheep' like route of mindlessly going for as much damage as possible even if it is boring as ***.

People go for the highest damage in this game, because it makes things easier and fights last shorter, so they can play with their friends and get the feeling that they are a contributing part - rather than getting carried through content. What you consider boring is efficient for others.

OP the pet builds are weird, and I rarely see them used in dungeons. The people who uses pets usually don't wear pet builds either. They wear the most OP damage build that they can afford, and just summon their shadows or pets before they engage in a boss fight.

Not every set has to be meta or generic like the hunding/julianos style sets. I'm working on a NB PVP build focused on sustain that uses this set. Shadow image is already great in PVP and is almost always on my back bar, so adding this sustain element to it makes for a potentially interesting build. I doubt it will be better than any of the mainstream sets, though.
