Grinding + Farming≠Playing

Thanks to all who constructively addressed the topic, "Do multiple VR16's know some secret to leveling?" From the looks of things... the only way to have even 1 VR16 is to grind, farm, and skip the majority of content except combat... That is a way too casual play-style for me... The game is more satisfying when I partake of all the game has to offer... For instance, if you rescue the prisoners and talk to Cadwell, they'll all come and help you destroy the Great Shackle... I rushed through that quest the first time, and got no assistance... but recently, I went through more deliberately and was able to sit back and snipe the opposition while Cadwell tanked them... I enjoyed the quest much more because I wasn't forced into a playstyle which I was unaccustomed to...

So this time you're attempting to not only redefine the word casual (again, lol), but now you're taken a stab at how players choose to play. Suck it up buttercup. You can't dictate how players choose to play, nor can you alter the well established and widely excepted definitions of causal and hardcore.

I have been here since launch and I currently only have one V16 (have one at V14 also who leveled 10-50 in pvp). I didn't grind with my V16 until I was well into Gold and couldn't take questing anymore. My V16 is my achievement -hore, grinding doesn't grant 'chieves so... yeah. To say the only way to even have one is to grind and skip content is ludicrous lol!

I understand the previous thread was about how to have multiple fast and I would agree to that degree. But to say that's the only way to have even one? Nah not even lol!

You want a V16? Play, my friend, play your heart out!
You want multiple fast? Play til your fingers bleed

I have come to this conclusion.

If you have ever missed work, school, court, or any other real life responsibility just to play a video game....you are hardcore.
If you haven't...good for you...you are very responsible lol and a casual.

Nope. I have 4 VR16s and a VR11. I don't grind or farm, and I complete each zone, from starter island through the end of Cadwell's Gold. All locales found, quests completed, lorebooks discovered, etc.

A game that is based on farming at its core can be quite awesome, however that type of game must be built around the loot and farming system. The farm must be the game (Diablo et al.) .ESO is not one of those games and it will never be. The entire loot system grindification is is tacked on and it shows.
