V16 Magicka NB Sap Tank - suggestions/advice?

Hey all! I'm tinkering around with one of my builds and I wanted to give tanking a try. I've got a vampire Dunmer that's been begging for a tank role- however, I don't have too much experience tanking. He can run sword/board with Inner Rage all day... but, unfortunately, he kills everything he kites. (I'm looking at you, wraiths from Crypt of Hearts!)

Can anyone suggest some magicka based tank gear sets? I can't decide if I should go with:

-5 pc Twice Born (Serpent and Steed) with 4 pc Eyes of Mara

-5 pc Willow's Path with 4 pc Eyes of Mara

-5 pc Kagrenac's Hope with 4 pc Willow's Path

or

anything else you can suggest. I should note that I do have the Engine Guardian set, Molag Kena set, Nerien'eth Set, and Valkyn Skoria set. So, if you can think of a 5 pc set with monster helm combo and two pieces of something else- let me know!

Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

Forget about stamina and health reg. Stamina reg is zero while blocking and health reg is reduced to almost nothing as a vamp. You have to decide if you want to tank in light or heavy armor. I prefer light armor on my NB, since you can deal a lot of dmg and heal the group while tanking.
I'm running 5 twice born (shadow, thief), 1 Kena, 3 torug, 3 willpower (spell dmg enchants).
Keep siphoning attacks up all the time and spam funnel health twisting path and crippling grasp to proc it. If you run low on stamina just drop block and kite (crippling speed buff helps a lot). For AOE just spam sap essence. Build works in most of the vet dungeons (haven't tanked ICP or WGT so far). If you have really hard hitting bosses then use mistform as some kind of magicka based block (no magicka reg while in mistform). Drop block while its active and use block to cancel it just before it runs out. I mostly use the magicka taunt and use the mark to debuff the bosses if no one is running elemental drain.
For ICP you might want to put on some heavy armor and magicka cost/reg enchants...

I agree overall with the abilities and strategies mentioned here. But tanking in all light armor makes it very difficult to reach the 33.1k hardcaps necessary for harder tanking content (Vet IC dungeons, CoA, some Trials bosses); to my knowledge, you either need a lot of CP or use Armor Master+Juggernaut/Harness Magicka. On my Argonian magicka NB tank, I currently use 5 heavy/1light/1 medium for the Undaunted bonuses, with the following sets:

    5pc Lamae
    3pc Willpower
    2pc Endurance
    2pc Malubeth

My build stacks healing received with emergency 'oh ****' healing. With 17k stamina I can permablock using caltrops+siphoning attacks. This leave me with ~28k magicka (2.3k spell damage) and ~27k health (can go over 30k when slotting structured entropy). The procs from Lamae and Malubeth are buffed from my spell damage as well, which makes for a nice build synergy. Then with Resto staff on off-bar, thanks to magicka pool, spell damage, and siphoning attacks, I've healed and tanked entire boss encounters before.

Also, look up Deus from the EU guild Hodor. He has great sap tanking guides on youtube and here.

    Yeah this.

My guild mate has an unkillable Argonian sap tank. It is actually unkillable, a self sustaining machine. My guess is it's quite similar too Deus' but with more stam and trops.
