Soket transport failed installing

Not contempt to have constant 209 errors on PC and crashes I decided to give it a try on Mac.
Well the inistall constantly fails with Socket Transport errors UNLESS I have the Launcher in front and not in the background

What happened to your game guys? Can t install on PC properly, can t download it without being stuck at 300k per sec max, can doanload properly on MAcs?
This is a disaster...and you wonder why you don t have more susbscribers? Well making the experience simple and hassle free would be a good start

As I was typing this I got a new error: WebGet request failed

I have been trying to install this game both on PC and Mac for 48 hrs. I bet you that Sunday night I will still not be playing

Hi @Monsoon,

regarding the Launcher.app, please read about how to disable the OS X App Nap feature here. There is a lot of other troubleshooting advice regarding download speeds on these forums as well, like clearing the DNS cache or using Google's DNS Servers as resolvers.

Regarding the socket errors, this is the first time ever I've read about them, and they haven't been reported here before. What is the exact error message you're seeing? Which version of OS X does your Mac run? Are you running some kind of internet security suite? Do you have active outbound firewall rules on your Mac or router?
