Why aren't there more teenagers? Wouldn't they presumably have way more time to play considering they don't have jobs (younger teenagers mainly).

No, it's not. There are a ton of teenagers who play this game who are less than 18. A "mature" rating is not going to stop a 15-year-old from playing a popular MMO.

For some reason, TES seems to attract the older crowd. Maybe the story is more mature?

Most players I met on this game were mid 20s+, whereas other games like WoW seem to have a large population of kids. But maybe most of them seem to prefer playing Cod or something similar.

I'll be 36 next week. I have a full time career and, while I don't have a ton of time to play, I can for an hour or two most nights and a bit more on the weekends. It's not that hard.

Side question: do you ever believe anything?

I am 36, have wife, no kids yet, work mon-fri 8:00am - 4:30pm and yes, I do find some time playing ESO (maybe few hours during the week and some more hours during the weekend) and I am pretty much enjoying it

I do not play every weekend, nor do I play every day during the week, but I do find time for it


you know, some folks relax watching TV, some play pc games, pretty normal I would say

My GF and I are 27 and 38 respectively.
We're both avid MMO gamers, and recently left WoW in favor of ESO's surrealism and overall environment.

Ive been in MMO's since Starwars: Galaxies, but there are those in my demographic who trace their MMO beginnings as far back as MUD's, and the original Everquest.

MMO's still have a long way to go before they are ultimately "infinitely satisfying", as content is created by people instead of algorithms, but soon enough it will be so, and many of us will easily prefer the MMO environment to the real world.

As far as forum posters, based on the language, vitrol and inability to put a coherent sentence together my guess would be under age 10?

On a serious note I would put the average age near 30 and certainly of a multiplayer mindset (should be no surprise as this is how the game is marketed).

I think many of us old pharts (I am 67) tend to play later at night or very early morning without too much company.

What do you think you'll do for fun in 10 years time? Do you actually believe the games you enjoy now will suddenly be unenjoyable because you got older? You sound like one of dumb teens so desperate to be an adult because being an adult is soooo cool.
