The way you phrased your question is a little different than what you seem to be actually asking. Do you want to know my age, or what I think the average is for ESO players?

    'Cause I'm 63, but I'm pretty sure that's a little above 'average'.

    I'm the statistical outlier.

    I'm right up there with you.61. And still havent grown up at all. :}

damn I wanna hang out with the 60+ yr old ESO players. They must have some stories to tell!

We surely do.Our times were vastly different from times now.Or even times when the young 30yr olds grew up.I love going back and forth telling tales with young ones sometimes.I tell, then they tell, and life can be so far from eachother. Yet,..it can be so enjoyable to share.

Wow! You are really, really old! 1988! That's almost 2 millennia old! I am astounded! You must have such great stories!

So tell me, how was the Council of Micenae?

Did the War of the Roses really last 40 years?

Did you ever get to meet Napoleon?

I thought Napoleon could be rather egotistical at times. I tried to tell him that it wasnt a good thing to attack Russia during the winter.

Who said that the age is something more that just a mere number :)? Imho the more important thing is how one feels :)

Amen, 39+ atm but I do not see the point of "growing up". Looking my father how he was at his 40s, no thanks. Miserable lives are not for our generation.

At 70s going to be the same, and more happy because of retirement :)

Btw I was playing DAOC up to few years ago, one of the member was a 67y old lady (American), who said "Sunday morning, I am getting my grandchildren to church, but afterward lest kick some Albs at Emain and take the relic"
    Enough said.

There seems to be a common misconception, that "growing up" means becomming conservative, grumpy, narrow-minded, stupid, somehow slow, ignorant, not able to communicate with younger people, etc... :).

I am glad that there are people (like me), that know that growing up is mainly - being mature, tolerant but not without boundaries, friendly but not without boundaries, being able to communicate the feelings and thoughts without attacking the other person, enjoying the fun of life, etc, full power :)!

I can completely understand why you might feel that way. At age 25 I had a career and I bought my first house and got married. Those things made me feel grown up in comparison to how mature I felt as a teen.

I've read about how in recent years scientists say the brain still hasn't fully matured until one reaches their mid 20s, but back when I was that age, we didn't know that yet so society had more of an expectation that you were a full adult by 25.

Regardless of one's age, I believe it's healthy for people to be playful at any age.

My dad is a high-school teacher, and frequently says how he can't wait until he's old enough to be grumpy, racist and judgemental of "us younger generations" and get away with it.

Note: he's quite the opposite of all the above, but sadly not a gamer too :/
