We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European console megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.
What is more important: fixing performance or new DLC?
I really love Orsinium, its a great DLC and all, but all the bugs and lag and fps drops. Its too much and sth has to be done about it. So I'm asking you what is more important to you.

One big Update for Bugs, Lag and Performance Issues
The problem with using an entire patch cycle just for bugs is:
1. There are only so many programmers that can go through and find bugs, it's not like you can reassign the whole art department to help find bugs in the code. So what do you do? Just have them do nothing for 2 months?
2. It will be short lived, and on the next DLC or balance patch you will just have more bugs.
IMO the only way to reduce bugs is to hire more people who have the expertise to help and/or take more time during the testing phase, and don't release content until bugs are (relatively) more under control, even if that is several weeks later than promised.

Performance all the way. Feels like it's worthless to have a 2k USD comp when i get frame skips every 30 seconds of moving. Don't care if there is no DLC for a year

Both are equally important, but I want new trials and dungeons so yea, that's how I voted. I don't mind bugs so much as the game being boring without new content. I know there are those who will leave the game over bugs too tho, so equally important.

But I think that "bug fix" dlc will be worthless simply because the balance will be changed again in the next content dlc.
Of course, fixing the lag and bugs is very important, but when the players are content-starved, its absolutely useless. Vdsa and trials are not scaled to vr16 and IC dungeons were nerfed... Nothing to do for us group players, and if the group content dlc will be delayed because of "balance dlc" I will probably take a break from the game or quit it.

This doesn't have to be an either/or situ. The devs could continue with new content (they absolutely will) AND repair ESO where it needs to be fixed.
I often balk when I see on the patch notes: "Fixed rare occurrence where a ..."
"Fixed rare bug that could for some players result in ..."
Bethesda did this with Skyrim and look how buggy that game still is!
It is not the rare bugs we want fixed but the serious ones that all can see and are adversely affected by them. It doesn't do ESO any credit if they ignore them and make our minds wander to other possible purchases which are so prevalent at this time of the year.
I argued elsewhere about ESO building high on shaky ground & here we are again.
One big Update for Bugs, Lag and Performance Issues
People have been asking to a major patch dedicated to bug fixing since the early days; I can't see it happening myself. Zeni have been continually ignoring bugs and piling new code and content on top; I really don't think that they know how to fix most of the bugs that have been there from the start any more. I also cant see them bothering to re-write the game engine to be multi-core aware; it's a shame.

Where is the option "both"?
No option for both because ZOS doesn't have the resources to do both at the same time
One big Update for Bugs, Lag and Performance Issues
What I mainly wanted to achieve with this is to show ZOS how the community thinks and how many people are angry because they dont work enough on fixing the game. The priority should be to fix whats broken before releasing new content which is also partially broken. It adds up and gets worse every time and this cant go on infinitely.
Of course I want new content too, but I would wait way longer for it when I knew that they work on fixing the game. Thats just how I feel. And I asked your opinions: what is most important to YOU. Glad to see that many people think like me :P
