Why take part then? Are you not curious to know if people are actually enjoying the game or not? This is a LONGSHOT but maybe, just maybe, zos will see this. You never know.

There are a few key things we need everyone to know. When a large number of players clumps together and spams PFX-heavy abilities, it will cause slow-down. We've put in a number of fixes and tools to help reduce this, but the reality is there will always be some slow-down when this happens.
Polls like this are inherently flawed because it's not a true random selection of participants. It's basically preaching to the choir. The sample size of 130 participants is also laughably small. Naturally this says nothing about the validity of PvP complaints. It's *** broken.RoamingRiverElk wrote: »Lava_Croft wrote: »I just explained that to you. One would think that many of the most passionate players came to the forum in the first place because they wanted to talk about the game with others even when not in game (because they loved it and cared about it so much). So what does it say about the current state of PvP when the results of a poll like this are what they are?
[Edit: As for the topic itself... We Are ESO Podcast #3 nailed it. I'm glad there are now threads on the forums about the state of the game that reflect my own views and those of the people in my PvP guild (including the ones who have already quit...) - I keep hoping that ZOS will make some changes, but I'm definitely not counting on that.
I keep playing because of the people I've met here.

It is open to everyone that has a forum account? How is it flawed? People come to the forums all the time and not purely just to moan. Once again you have came to spread your negativity and useless feedback. If there was one person's opinion on these forums that I literally couldn't care less about it would be yours! So please before you start another "game" as you seem to always make it, remove yourself from my post and return your tail back to bed because I'm tired of listening to you.
Also the poll opened last night so yes there aren't that many participants yet.

People who are happy generally visit forums like this much less.
People who are happy generally do not partake in polls, let alone polls with suggestive(negative) titles.
This means the participants for the poll are selected from a group that has the unhappy customers over-represented. This means the poll is inherently flawed and all people do in threads like this is nod to each other about how broken X or Y is.
Personal attacks won't change anything about that, even though you seem to think it might.
[EDIT] An even simpler way to explain it: If you are unhappy about cats and see a poll asking if you are happy with cats, you are much more inclined to participate than someone who is happy or indifferent about cats.

I don't hold ZOS in very high regard, but I doubt they are too thick to notice the current level of unhappiness with PvP and are in need of yet another self-fulfilling poll and a thread that is nothing but people confirming each other's negative emotions regarding PvP.Lava_Croft wrote: »You really don't seem to know how polls like this work, do you?LegendaryChef wrote: »Lava_Croft wrote: »Polls like this are inherently flawed because it's not a true random selection of participants. Even with the samplesize being way to small the poll is not in a way fundamentally screwed that it has zero relevance. Not a single yes is still a highly unlikely event.

Constructive threads and streams such as the 'We are ESO' one are much more useful. Threads like this are nothing but a bunch of people standing in the rain, complaining about how wet it is.

I won't waste another second of my time replying to your moronic posts Kris. Either leave the poll or continue babbling on rubbish, I don't care.
This poll suggests nothing but the same message that has been conveyed to ZOS for quite a while already: People are unhappy with PvP. There's no discussions that we haven't had already, there no suggestions that haven't been made already. Threads like this are much like ESO's grind: Endless repetition.RoamingRiverElk wrote: »Lava_Croft wrote: »Polls like this are inherently flawed because it's not a true random selection of participants. Why take part then? Are you not curious to know if people are actually enjoying the game or not? This is a LONGSHOT but maybe, just maybe, zos will see this. You never know.

How else would people try to get their message across to ZOS by now? Yes, We Are ESO should certainly help, If Only ZOS Actually Listened To Them And Did What They Suggest...
But ZOS also needs to see that many *are* unhappy about the current state of PvP in ESO. But perhaps it's just mostly the people who have been playing the game for long and are sad to see it's become pretty much just about zergs... Maybe the zergers are obliviously happy - even despite the lag - and ZOS is fine letting PvP stay the way it is.
Remains to be seen what happens to guilds when those who have been playing for long and are good at the game leave - since it's likely they are officers and guild leaders of said guilds. Who will then help the new players with their builds, with crafting, leading, organizing events, answering questions etc.?

I was suspended a few days ago for posting something just like this - just an FYI
