Do you truthfully enjoy pvp in its current state?

Just in general I would like to see a show of hands I guess to see if people are currently enjoying the current state of pvp and also add what they would like to see changed.

I personally am not enjoying this game at the moment and am more or less staying purely to take care of a guild, talk to good friends and silently pray in the corner that the game will get better.

It is ok, it needs a lot of work but I still enjoy it sometimes.

Unfortunately, I'm addicted to it. I wish I could enjoy it. The game is too unstable and unresponsive most of the times that my skill doesn't even matter, since i'll still lose some fights i should be winning. I want to rant but there's too much to put together. My only way to describe my current pvp experience is me being a crack head looking for that first high.

So much potential, but id be a damn liar if I told you I wanted to be here.

Its only my guildmates that really keep me at all interested. Still a few nuggets of good times, but more often than not I ragequit out of frustration with lag or zergballs.

Seriously though, lag breaks everything for me it seems, skills won't cast, ult won't cast, get stuck in charge animations still. When I die i have to reload UI because i can't ever left click anything after respawn. I love this game to death but the constant lag, among other issues is the only source of rage and frustration in my life atm ><

It is ok, it needs a lot of work but I still enjoy it sometimes.

I am not sure how much the lag is due to my lousy ping, because Cyro has always been iffy for me, as is grouping.
As a result of that I'm not very experienced in PvP.
I do love going there and trying to just be part of what is going on though.
I sincerely hope they fix it because I enjoy trying to follow what my faction is achieving at any given time and watch daily progress.
When I am able to go to Cyro I have done the scouting and other dailies and tagged along to where there is fighting
and do what I can to help and stay alive.

I'm waiting for either a fix for the fps, loading screen and general lag issues, or something better coming up elsewhere.

I spend more and more time ingame but afk (doing other stuff) lately.
Lag and bugs aside, the new loadingscreens are killing me! Can get one when I die and spawn at a keep or just transfer from one keep to another (I'm talking looong loadingscreens which often results in a kick/crash).

Tough I still enjoy the game sometimes, specially thanks to friends I play with and talk on TS. Plus I'm addicted to ESO.

I understand you, been there myself. Feelings go one way and the other, sometimes I enjoy playing it, sometimes I'm totally not. I'm still giving it the benefit of doubt hoping it would improve in time. We'll see, StarCitizen is on the horizon, as well as Black Desert.

I have given up on pvp completely until they fix it.

Perhaps not completely but the game overall esp pvp has very little to offer me.

IC was an interesting distraction , Cryodil is Cryodil, nothing new there and the head-ache that it is at times leaves me wondering why I bother with the game at all.

I managed to get all the skyshards and quite a few CP from each of the DLC zones before my sub lapsed and I doubt I'll be resubbing until the next one.

With other games on the horizon and it being summer and all I can see ESO taking a back seat for some time.

Anyway, that was more than I intended to say.. blah

Pvp was fine during 1.5 and just needed some slight changes like removal of aoe caps, then they just went and broke it

I didn't leave this game cause I like to play with the people in my guild.
Easy seen that I don't even bother logging on if no one else of my friends is online.

Sometimes when I feel like playing solo I log in and all I can see is a high ping, low fps and zergs clashing on a bridge or gate.

I like the game for the people i met here and the people i play with on a daily basis. When my ping is super high. And the game works witch is rare the game is so fun and i love it. But it needs works alot of work.

+ Random feelings of success when succeeding 1vX
+ NB gloryhunters. 90% of them are so freakishly easy to kill.


- During prime time, it is all about zergfest and who has machine that can handle lag/fps issues.
- Defending is made ridiculous with siege/oil damage nerfs.
- I don't like players that needs to use all exploits to be competent.
- I don't like ZOS who doesn't give a s**t about exploiters.
- Loading screens...
- NB gloryhunters. If i got other than NB or player daily kill quest, it takes a lifetime to get it done.

There are still problems with broken abilities and some inbalances but for the most part its fun when its not lagging(getting zerged)

agree with you even tho I am a nb :P cept your last point. i slot counters for cloak (mark or caltrops) making the nb daily 1 of the easiest and fastest to complete cause squishiest class in the game. for me its sorc gloryhunters that will streak away when their derp curse frag combo doesnt win the fight

If it wasn't for the lag, latency and the artificial buff to zergs, this games pvp would be one of the best ever. The combat system is simply amazing. So much potential wasted through an incompetent dev team.

Sad thing is these times are few and far between.

My opinion is a little skewed as I just recently found a build and playstyle that really really suits me personally, so I am enjoying PvP more right now than I ever have (been playing since beta). If this was not the case I would probably vote one lower.
The only complaint I can really have is the high ping, and to some extent the low fps, but I don't know how much my medium range rig is to blame for that, so I'll just stick with the ping. When it creeps over 300 (which is like all the time on Azura's EU) it becomes more and more joke-worthy and ridiculous.
If they could please just flick those magic switches and keep it under 200 I'd be happy (enough... for now).

1. LAGG
2. The stunlock in cc when multiple ppl *** you
3. the bugs

I love(d) the overland PvP. Apart from the lag, animation cancelling and some bugs I still enjoyed it. Recently I haven't even bothered to go to Cyrodill. It's empty most of the times, and when there is a small scale battle it's over before I pass my LOADING SCREEEEEEEENS

Nowadays I try to quest in Orsinium. I quit twice because I had a quest which needed me to talk to some dude in a keep and then I had to go back out. That would mean 2 times a 5 minute loading screen.

So for me I have no fun in PvP because

- empty cyrodill most of the times
- lag
- animation cancelling (I understand some people like it, but for me if someone cancels a skill so I don't see the animation and can't react to it i's not fun. ie flappy wings or healing)
- loading screens
- in combat for 10 mins even after death
- unusable siege weapons

I do enjoy the game because Orsinium is a great zone. But I just found out all that remains for me quest wise is the main story there. So what to do after that since I don't give anything about achievements or high end raiding. So I need to go back to cyrodill where I belong and which is the reason I play this game in the 1st place. Ye same problem here mate. I thought like, I actually enjoy it when I get decent PvP without lag, fps drops and without mega zergs crushing me. But then again.. How often does that actually happen?
