Why aren't you VR 16 yet?

I have two V16s, One V15 (will be 16 tonight) and 2 V5s. What I find is once I get to 16 I run around a bit and then get bored with the build and jump on to a low alt and start playing that. Since IC came out I've stopped grinding and have mostly been leveling up in PVP and over the last week MA

May I ask how long you've been playing and what you average hourly on a weekly basis?

On my remake (lost all my data and had to restart), I've got easily 30-40 hours in to her and she's only at level 15?

How can you guys have multiple v16's! I can only imagine (and admire) the pure dedication timewise it must take to get there!

I've been playing a year now, the first character I got to vet I took my time on, did all the quests, collected all the sky shards, learnt all the crafts etc etc (still only V5, imperial sorc so has been unplayable until recently). After that I power ground my two current V16s, power ground my current V15 to about V10 then just played it, power ground my other V5. On average I would play 10 - 12 hours a week.

That being said, if you didn't care for the storyline (have already completed one alt) it would only take an hour or two to get to lvl 15, if you have a partner and are using experience scrolls/drinks its a lvl every 10 minutes

my main (first character) never got to max level at any time. I gave up each time due to lack of more content to do solo that didn't involve grinding. now she's VR15 but I completed everything in all normal/silver/gold, Cyrodiil and what I could do in Crag solo.

My new templar might hit VR16 soon, VR8 and just barely started Gold.

I have one vr16, one vr1 & 2 other lvl30ish chars I am still leveling. I've been playing since the beta but I am a very casual player... sometimes an hour or more every night... sometimes only once a week.. depending on my free time.

I just want one char of every class so I can try out all the abilities My main guy is a Stam DK... so... obviously now I wish I had gone with a diff class build (heh!).

I've been leveling my new nightblade just in Cyrodiil & Guild quests... the levelling is a bit more grindy but seems to go faster.

The VR grind does seem very slow... but hey! feel for the guys that levelled their chars to VR14 before update 6... it was 1 million points per Vet rank back then.. now it's 'only' 850000 points per VR.

How unkind. Many of those "freeloaders" are handicapped and this game is about the only enjoyment they have besides TV. So,just because you arent able to play all day,please,try not to insult others because they can.

I have one VR 16 Sorc and am presently working on another 7 alts around level 18-29. I really don't expect to get far but it gives me something to do other than grind and my VR 16 is essentially unemployed until Orsinium comes out on console.

I get to the end of Cadwell's Gold and decide that grinding sucks, so I started an alt and am going through all the exact same content...jokes on me I guess

Yeah, quite a few of my guild mates have a similar number of V16 as you, and most only play 3 or so hours a day.

Also before grind spot nerfs and knowing where to efficiently grind at current level than moving to next grind spot with xp pots and ring of mara with grind partner as well as xp bonus from sub. I was able to get 3 of my toons to v14 which was max at the time in no longer than 30-40 hours per toon.

I couldn't suffer the loading screens and falling through the world bugs, not to mention the absurd amount of crafting mats required to craft your own stuff.

i made level 1-v16 and my played was 2d 10h..

took me like 3 months to settle on a class/race/role.

I am now VR2 and working my way up.

Why? Cause, non-vet is so fun in its' own right. Honestly if you are a gamer, and not an end gamer. The game is fun. Why would anyone want to just be an end gamer? It's all fun. And, I am sure end gaming is fun. Especially in Vet PvP. But, the journey is the best part. I quit WoW because of that. I don't want to struggle to keep up with the latest x-pac. I just want to have fun on the journey.

Playing through the main quest line gets tiresome after the 2nd playthrough especially with cadwell so I opt for grinding but even that get's tiring if there's more than 1 other guy grinding it there so if there's too many people I just don't do it.

I am in absolutely no hurry to get to max level. It shall happen on its own accord, not because I need it ('cause I don't lol) in fact the longer it takes me to get there the more I can stall on making my final gear so I know what I will have to work with from new DLCs, because so far 2 for 2 have given us new sets.

That said my characters are in order on my character list: VR8, Lv22, Lv22, Lv18, Lv20, Lv19, Lv16, Lv17

P.S. My Lv22s have both completed the Mage's Guild Storyline, and the second one has also done the Fighter's Guild and both are Sorcerers

I do have a VR16, pretty much only because everything got so fast and easy.
Having started at launch with a game plan to take one character through to other alliances and thus keep game fresh for longer was only VR11 when I completed Gold.
She was maxed out on all crafts, and had most of the fishing achieves for the zones, so then started playing the Alts.
Got 3 more to vet, + another to VR11.
Just before the patch that reduced levels, started playing a duo + hit VR14 with main.
Patch came and with it VR15 + 16 so fast it was crazy!
For me the game is fun, taking time to stop and smell the roses, never pass an active fishing hole.

It's my first and only MMO so I reckon I play it pretty much the way I played my other Scroll games and apart from
a lousy ping, and other game problems, have enjoyed every hour.
I play for a few hours most days, and hope to continue to spend time in the game for a good while yet.
