Did someone finish vetMA with a stamina DK build?

Hello,

I'd like to know if anyone has been able to finish the veteran Maelstrom Arena with a DK stamina build.

If so, i'd like to see a video or some proof of it, not just a "Yes, i did".

And no Werewolf transformation or similar neither, just a regular/classic DK stamina build.

I foresee no answers to this post or just a few with no proofs.

Btw, I found this video of a stamina DK struggling to even kill the first boss and he was not able, not even got the boss to 50% health indeed:

Ive gotten up to 4th boss on my stam DK. Have work so not enough time to clear it yet but I will get there eventually.

Imperial DK: 22k health with 38k stam buffed with tri stat food. 3.5k unbuffed wp damage with 67% crit.

Skills :

Dual wield: Unstable flame/flame breath/rapid strikes/spin2win/vigor

2h: obsidian shield/rally/executioner/caltrops/fossilize

Both ulti slots are flexi for me depending on boss fight. I also move around 1 or 2 skills here and there depending on stage but for the most part that is my setup. Have 210 CP.

That's a Werewolf, and I clearly stated no Werewolf transformation but a regular classic stamina DK. So that video/link is not valid for my question/request.

I agree with you, still, no "properly geared" stamina DKs have yet responded. So, properly or not properly geared, no completions so far.

Frankly, why use a Sta build WITHOUT having the Were Ulti, as it ALSO uses Sta for max power on ALL its skills and is so powerful. After all, it does not do ANYTHING for you if you are not transformed. They took out the passive sta regen three or so major patches ago. I think your request is foolish.

I don't care what you think about my request. If I don't want to be a Werewolf just BECAUSE, and I won't be it just because you say so.

Besides, I'm not asking "How to complete the vetMA with a Stamina DK", I'm asking if any CLASSIC STAMINA DKs have completed it, so you're missing my point with a foolish response.

So, so far, no answers/proofs yet of classic/regular stamina DK builds completing the vetMA.

Even with server currently down (so more people on the forums, lol), 1:30 hours have passed after my original post and yet not even one answer with proof?

I'm starting to think (confirm) no regular/classic stamina DKs have completed veteran Maelstrom Arena since it's not possible with this class and build.

Someone just said they know 3 Stamina DKs that have done this.

It's been an hour and 30 minutes, not like it's been a full day or even a week. Most players don't use the forums...

A lot of people play the game, without making videos. Anyone who is a nooby stam DK that isn't a WW is surely not making videos.

I want to see it then, because in the video he fights bosses using the WW for increased stats (mostly damage). I want to see a regular stamina DK completing the vet arena, and no one so far.

Please upload your stam DK run without WW when you have time.

My god! I asked for proof, not for a line saying "I know someone...".

You cannot nuke all bosses with WW. But on Stam DK generally use Corrosive Armor+Reflective Scales+Fossilize. Is very important

The point is guys, it shouldn't be THIS HARD to find someone who has done it...

OP is stating that maybe DK's need some love....stam DK's at the least.

Honestly, trying to do any end game with my stam DK is so rough in comparison with my NB or Sorc...

Its like someone turned the hard switch on from easy....shouldn't be that way.

lol dude it is possible, i can do it easily...but need to do a run, then edit the stuff, then upload, then render...so mayve 2-3days.

Umm, actually all you need to do is slot the WW ulti to get 15% more stam rec.

Point is that you should not have to be a WW to complete it. Even with slotting, odds of a stam DK successfully completing are far below any other build. This is a problem.

I got to the stage 9 (final) boss last night on my stamina DK last night... not going to tell you how long I was in there...

Had to quit as it was 1am. Making another run at it tonight. Maybe I'll stream it.

I just did the normal mode myself yesterday as a stam DK. (i know this is about Vet, but hear me out). I found it very fustrating. Especially the stage with the spiders. I swear I was gonna punch babies on that one, then I figured out some other skills to use and moved on. The last boss was even easier than that stage. (ZoS, drop the HP on that stage boss seriously)

Anyway, I don't understand why the vet mode should require Vr16 gold level gear and weapons to complete when all your getting in return is blue or purple? It makes no sense at all. I haven't tried the Vet version, but I know straight off I'm not even remotely ready for it. I think ZoS needs to calibrate these encounters based on gold level basic gear. Not someones set gear, and not someones amount of CP. So just a standard run-of-the-mill set of gear. Nothing special, no traits or set procs. There's learn to play and then there's "this is not worth my time, it's balanced so poorly"

I have VR15 purple Hundings Rage and Black Rose gear all heavy. VR16 purple weapons. 2H and S/B setup. I am mostly a PvP DPS DK. If it was that difficult for me on normal, I can't even begin to imagine vet mode.
