I think Julianos will become the favorite, but there are many combinations that work and each situation is different. PvP, PvE solo and PvE grouping.

Hello, my name is shenronnacht and im a reformed crit build,

I like crit builds for PvE as most NPCs don't use shields. For PvP I go for a more solid dmg base.

Without monster rops Id use Julianos plus magnus for dmg in pvp, and PvE would be prob Seducer and julianos.

Twice born when I have the traits researched, im gonna need a lot of mats...

Going to try and craft my final gear this week, I'm after 2 setups

I do pvp, mostly solo, but I also enjoy pve, in groups i am 'usually' a healer, but often take on the dps role when one of ours is offline and we can find another healer.

So should I go with kragneracs hopes x5 or julianos x5?

What should I fill my other 4 slots with? Currently have 3x arcane jewellery, with 3 spell damage enchants.

I'm thinking either

5x krag
4x torugs

Or 5x julianos
4x magnus

Or 5x julianos
4x seducer

Not using any monster sets atm, trying to perfect my build as is, if I get a piece of kena later on I can adjust.

I would suggest ignoring Torug unless you have monster drops. Both Magnus and Twilight's embrace (and seducer) have better 3 and 4 sets (at least more relevant) that are better.

I can see a sustain build running x5 seducer and x4 julianos, personally ill use x5 julianos and magnus for damage purposes.

I run dark conversion (I can't help it, even tho pvp so many mobs and I don't like waiting to regen between the mobs, in combat a few spams and you can keep going, outside of combat its insane regen)

Quick question, does anyone know if dark conversion can crit? And if it does crit does it give you an additional 50% magicka regen?

Yes, I use it for the Manticora fight (Sorc) and my damage output is insane

That's what I was think, but at the same time

5x julianos and 4x magnus is

300 spell damage
130 spell damage
2k max magicka
6% crit
130 regen

5x krag and 4x torugs is
230 spell power
130 spell power
2k health
1k magicka
130 regen
Rez speed bonus
2k spell resistance

So your trading 1k magicka, 70 spell power,and 6% crit

For 2k health, rez speed bonus, 2k spell resist.

Or krag+magnus which is
230 spell power
130 spell power
260 regen
1k health
2k magicka.

Which seems pretty good.

I think as long as you get a minimum of 1 regen bonus via armor with about 300 cp + you can run 3 spell damage enchants on willpower jewellery.

It takes the average, not the weakest. So yes you can gold up two willpower swords and get a marginally higher spell damage boost

He could go for 2x sharpened willpower swords, make them gold level, and only be short about 4% spell penetration. Not optimal, but far less punishing than you're making it out to be.

More pvp orientated but using Tbs with atronach and mage/apprentice.

With 7x divines the bonuses are 330ish and 220 odd spell power. This means the set will give you

1k magicka
1k stamina
1200 health (or is it 1400?)
220 spell damage
330 magicka regen

Which seems to be a great raw stat boost, it's the same spell damage as krag, with the same health bonus, but 2x the regen boost and a stamina boost.

Could then either use magnus x4, or torugs x3 and 1x kena to complement it.

or us atronach + mage, for another 2k max magicka on top, so a total of 3k max magicka from the set.

Or even mage + apprentice, for 220 spell power and 3k max magicka bonuses.


Infact I think that's what I'm going to go for, for pve and pvp I can swap mundus stones and achieve max stats and regen or max dps etc as and when required. I think using mage+atronach should allow me to use 3x spell damage enchants comfortably.

@Waffennacht, it's usually the average of the items, so it won't be as powerful as a full high level set, but not as weak as the full low level set, either.

It's why you can use a lower level item to 'fill in the blanks' until you have the level gear you are looking for. Obviously, you want as many of the higher level items as possible.

Something to note here, you will only see the actual value it will provide if you are currently wearing at least one item in the set.

For instance, wear a single piece of VR12 Warlock and it will show the 5 piece bonus at VR12. Hover over a VR1 piece in your inventory at the same time and it will show you the averaged value.
