Battle leveling bugged??

i get 23k~ hp in cyro but i get 12k in group finding tool dungeons...

i did pvp today and new battle leveling is preety awesome (non vet), but when i used grp tool and got group for fungal grotto (in 3min btw, reall fast) i had 12k hp...got 2 shoted by anything...

is this supposed to happen and im doing smth wrong, or is this overlooked error..

btw all atts in stamina and have random dropped gear.

Would probably be best if you took screenshots of your character sheet when in a normal zone vs Cyrodiil vs in a dungeon formed from the group like @Urquan did in his thread. I noticed his battle levelling was different in Orsinium vs group dungeon.. But not THAT different.

And you're sure you didn't change gear between them, or maybe slot different skills that would then have some passives in effect during one time but not the other? Still don't think it would be THAT different, but a full character sheet may allow people to see other differences too.

sry didnt get SS but believe me.. in Cyro i get 20k and in Fungal Grotto scaled only 12k..

didnt went in orsi with this char so idk what will happen there... this is just cyro vs scaled dung

And both times you either had food active, or didn't? Food scales with the battle levelling so not having food on during that dungeon could be a huge portion.

As well, did you magicka/stamina scale to the same amount during both?

In Cyrodiil everyone has 5k extra hp compared to outside and if your alliance has emperorship, you'll get another 3k.

Don't forget that you get a flat 5k health bonus in Cyrodiil in addition to any battle leveling, and don't forget to take into account any PvP buffs you might be getting while in Cyrodiil.

Orsinium would be a much better place to make an apples-to-apples comparison.

While Cyrodiil does give an extra 5k~ HP from Battle Spirit, I have also noticed a difference in values even when taking this into account.

I turned it off.

It gimped my magica regen from by 1k.

Had 1300ish in Cyrodiil, 2300is when I left. When in and out again to try. Same result.

Turned it off, went into pvp, 2300ish regen like pve.

I lost 15k health, but I'm doing loads better as I can actually attack people and heal, not one or the other.

Extra health but no magica just means I die in 2 or 3 moves more without being able to counter it or do anything back

I think the difference between my Orsinium screenshot and my group dungeon screenshot is probably about the Orsinium battle leveling scaling you to VR15, while the group dungeon battle leveling scales you to VR16.

OP: if you don't have anything in health and you weren't using food that's probably why you're only at 12K health while battle leveled for dungeons. Without anything in stamina my level 18 got battle leveled to just under 12K stamina for a group dungeon. You can check out my screenshots in this thread if it's helpful:

As others have pointed out, while you're in Cyrodiil you automatically get an extra 5K health, and if you've got the emp bonus then you get 3K more on top of that. So it doesn't sound like the battle leveling is bugged - it just sounds like you need to use food in dungeons. Using blue food should put you above 15K health (as I discovered in the thread I linked above, food gets battle leveled too), and then you'll probably be fine.

I had a similar situation last night when my character leveled from VR11 to VR12 in Orsinium; without changing any gear, lost 150 spell damage, 3% spell crit, as well as lower HP, etc. Wayshrined out of Orsinium and upgraded, that seemed to fix it. Wonder if this is just a bug with battle-leveling, or is there some "balancing" mechanic I'm unaware of?
