Does your character look like you?

I've seen alot of character models in games where players mapped their character to resemble themselves. So, I'm curious, does your ESO character look like you?


If you could post a screenshot of you and your character, just to compare.

I am currently working on my look for a character and will post it later.

I'm an Argonian vampire with age slider maxed out and soul shriven skin so I really really hope not.

Being as my main is a cute Altmer female, and in real life I'm an ugly male...I can say with 95% confidence that I don't look like my main. That being said, if any of my characters looks like me...it's probably my Orc

Same here! I really wish I could look my my characters. For Khajiit, I want to literally be the crazy old cat lady!

well no , I am a male in normal life, and I have a altmer female character (just because after argonian - Skyrim and orc - ESO beta, I wanted to have a character that would be pretty to look at for me )

but she is really hot, I love her







I only want her to have longer hair, barbershop now pls !!!!!!!!!!!

There's one thing about my RPG character development habits that never changes: my characters never look like me. They can share some of my personality traits, preferences etc., but never my appearance. In part it's because I don't want to project myself into my characters, in part because I feel like I don't know what I actually look like. I have no idea how other people perceive me.

@Daraugh , I think you and your Breton character look a lot alike. As a Khajiit fan, I also love your Silken Purr. She's gorgeous!

None of my characters look like me. My characters are mainly Khajiits and though I'm wearing a hat with cat ears all the time, I think I look more like a Bosmer in real life. A Bosmer who's wearing a Khajiit light helmet.

@Daraugh Thanks for playing along. I personally look nothing like my characters. And the power cut out when I was going to save my look-a-like, so it was deleted.

I have a lot of characters.... and have no intention of making a personal clone army :P There's really only one of them that looks sort of similar to me, my bosmer sorcerer Aethyriel - the first of the daggerfall ones in this picture. The last of the daggerfall ones, Ebany, would look more like me if she had long straight hair which I considered, but I was actually intending to base her off a friend of mine with more poofy hair.

My main character looks like me. At least as much as possible. The problem is that the fat slider doesn't go far enough. I demand that we have the option for obese avatars.

I made it actually, if you can knit a scarf it's not much more difficult. If it were, I would never have made it because I loathe knitting, but I really wanted the hat lol

Nice! Uhm, and no.. I can't knit a scarf. I actually tried knitting when I was younger, but sadly I didn't have the patience. After seeing your hat I kinda wish I had of stuck with it. All kinds of awesome.

Appreciate the compliments! I am really happy with the creativity allot of people have when making their characters. Shows that I'm not the only one.
