How the enlightenment works after this patch? (CP system)

Since Players with less CP need less exp for 1 CP, so is the enlightenment every day for 1 cp or it's for 400k xp?

People who have 501+ CP will get 1 CP everyday from the enlightenment?

From my understanding. Your only Enlighten for 400k xp. For example if you just got enlightenment and only need 100k xp for next Cp. Once you get Cp you will still be Enlighten for the next 300k in xp. The bonus xp gains for people under the Cp cap doesn't have anything to do with enlightenment. Those are different xp bonuses. But you can basically say that if your under the Cp cap that your are permanently Enlighten because you have a xp bonus.

Yes, cue desertion via apathy. You worked hard, so now as your reward, Work 3 times harder than everyone else and not see any benefit until be release new content several months later.

I am betting that this will eventually kill subscriptions as people hit the "wall".

Interesting thoughts....
I'd think that like other games, players see it as a max and do other things or even play Alts vs worrying about an arbitrary max CP number. The few that are at the max "might" feel some kinda way but all others should t because the exp it would've taken to get to 501 is extremely less now especially for a new player but even going from 100+ it's a lot less so they would've been 502+ anyways

@CaptainObvious yeah I can see subs going down with people who are over. It'll also make xp pots less desirable as well. I'm probably gonna still be subbed even though I am one of the people over Cp cap (648) just for the free dlc bonus xp in gold and xp since I do enjoy leveling new toons but I might cancel it once I get my last 2 toons to max levels.

But it isn't, you already know what the real max is, 3600. Additionally, you know that it will take triple the work to earn some advancement that will only take effect 3 months later. So why do that?

People are already complaining that it takes too many resources to earn this new thing be it motif's, v16 gear, etc. They have simply added CP gain to this formula.

Everything they do system change-wise is simply to stifle you from obtaining something. When you realize that, then that makes you a happy camper, that the backing reason is to just give you more busy work and hope that you will spend money.

regular progression of a player that does is CP only when illuminated (100k XP * 4 a day)
Blue is the actual progression : 1 CP a day, red is the new CP system (still 400k xp a day)

U can see that 100CP are earned in 21 days now compared to...well... 100 days before.

Additionally, you will run out of alts or you will lose interest in doing a quest 8 times over. Do you cycle through pledges, vpledges and writs on 8 v16 alts?

They focus so much effort on preventing players from reaching the current top of the mountain. In a way, that works to my benefit as some of my group members are evaluating other games again.

@CaptainObvious yes I do all pledges and writs on all of my toons who are v16 (6 toons) I also do all writs on my v16 toons on second account (4 toons), I don't do pledges on second account. My second account was my son's account but he quit playing after a month or so after launch. He wasn't that big of a rpg/mmo fan as I am. Prefers FPS games like his mom. I enjoy both but more so rpg/mmo. (this is actually my first mmo. Huge elder scrolls/Bethesda fan) anyway, I don't mind running pledges etc over multiple toons. I find it fun and refreshing to change my role in the group and changing up play styles etc. I found that it actually helped me not get bored with content. Plus being a min/maxer, I am able to test/theory craft with different toons/builds to find what is best.

I agree on your comment of preventing players from reaching "top of the mountain". They should spend less effort on that because majority of the players are not gonna be anywhere near that. Sure there are gonna be the 1% who will reach that. So what.

As for other gaming options. As I stated above, I am a huge Bethesda fan and fallout 4 will be here soon. I will definitely be MIA from eso for a bit when that game drops. But once I get my fallout 4 fix I'll be back on eso.

On PTS so far it seems to have been 400,000 XPs worth of Enlightenment per day (ie, you earn 100k raw XP, and gain 400k XP towards CPs).
