made a new character that is a altmer sorcerer and was wondering which class I should focus on: dark magic, daedric summoning, or storm calling?

Agreed. It's always good to have all your options open. You may find a skill is SUPER useful in a battle that doesn't even exist yet.. but may in a future update. Respecializing is very easy so don't worry about gimping yourself as any choice you make can be undone. Other than class and race selection. I also prefer storm calling just for looks alone on my StamSorc but I keep clanfear there just to lvl summoning. ✭✭✭✭✭Through out my playing Ive gone through almost every skill in those trees. You will find one ability goes well with one lay out and then that you may wish to try a different lay out and go with new moves.
There is no way to mess up your character in the sense you are thinking. Leveling up skills, even if you don't like them now, is always good. There are more than enough skill points and even then respec is really reasonable.
Just play, its all good, heck I started out with 2H and bow way back when
