What's a Pingshield? I've got an AD NB in the EU server, if that makes any difference.
PingShield is a request I had (tongue well and truly in cheek) where people with bad ping could have a shield scaled to their ping rate so that people with bad ping could compete with people with good ping.
I could really use one of those. My average ping went way up after the server datacenter upgrade.
I was averaging 350ms and now it's averaging 700ms with more disconnections and game crashing.
FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.FYI - It's B2P not F2P. ✭✭Even though I'm only kidding, Ambush is ridiculously strong simply because each hit fake-stuns you (like a fake stun that causes you to just stand still) for a second, so with enough Stam and that spammed, not even CC immunity is gonna help you.

If I'm reading you correctly, your basically saying that you want to be sure that, if a night-blade is getting the short end of a battle stick, you want to be sure that you can kill them and they have no way of getting away from the inevitable death.
Your mean. Just plain mean.

Well last night on EU server you would have been in God Mode with one of these Pingshields. The lag was insane!
Yes, the concept of DDoS attacks is in its name: Denial of Service. Don't ask me about the other D but there are some that call it DoS lol
Anyway the DDoS attack is what caused the problems that Zenimax was investigating. The problems before then I cannot say but it was likely a DDoS as well, but probably smaller. Or perhaps the attacker has been chipping away all along... It may even be the hardware upgrade recently that allowed attackers, who were attacking the entire time, to finally find an opportunity to break through.
