I noticed that a few days back...it's not the same.

The clothing hireling has changed as well....and I wanted to know what was up with her crazy dreams

My last msg from Pacrooti was last night/evening, from Madame Firilanya also. I also wanted to know what was up with her dreams. I hope they can give some answer(s). I don't really want woodworking mats much, I just wanted to get mail from Pacrooti...

I wish we could actually meet this hirelings. It almost makes me wish that you could pick them up like companions in SWTOR... but then the game would change significantly and I'm not sure I'd like that. I DO think it would be cool if future companions might live at your house or wander up to you wherever you are.

Oh god this is awful t.t Okay so I need to....remove hirelings and get it back? eesh. Thanks for getting me an answer, I guess my search wasn't as good lol. Khajiit is super sad about this. t.t

Ah, you guys have finally gotten to that point with your hirelings.
Yes it was disappointing when Pacrooti went on vacation. At least you have new ones kicking right in. We had to wait quite awhile, getting the same last letter everyday before they started the new ones.

So.....when Margog's are finished, does Pacrooti come back? Is there a third hireling? I want Pacrooti full time. They need to add a questline where we can go help save Pacrooti from his shenanigans. He gets in trouble often. could do a chain and have a daily. Yeh! Suggested it before but I don't think they understand our love for Pacrooti.

While it pained me to do so, I fired Pacrooti and told him he could have his job back when he learned to take a bath. He has not written back since. :-( Priorities, I guess.

I miss getting unique hireling mails... I actually dedicated quite a bit of time to filling out some of the correspondence on UESP (Margog and someone else... I forget). There's probably still some gaps, but yeah... once you go through two sets of hirelings, you get the same message every time. Sometimes it's the second hireling, sometimes it's a third, but you will never receive unique daily messages again on that character.

A new character getting hirelings for the first time should start at message #1 though, so you can reacquaint yourself with Pacrooti and all the others on this new character.

But I still miss getting unique correspondence. I looked forward to reading those. Some days it was my only reason for logging in.

Pacrooti is always willing to supply "nightwood" to attractive customers (for a small consideration of course), but seems to have dropped out of the message-writing side of things

Unfortunately, hireling messages will pick up again at the same point that they left off, if you put points back into hirelings on the same characters. They do not reset. You have to start a hireling on a different alt to see the messages from the start again.

Sadly for me, my hirelings have completed their message list on almost all my characters now (8/8). I would love to see some new hireling messages.

All of my Hirelings (Blacksmithing, Clothing, and Woodworking) have apparently run through all of their options.

The second set of Hirelings you get have also apparently run their full course of messages. Each day I still get mail from my hirelings, but it's the exact same message. Every. Single. Day.

I haven't received a new message in 2+ months...

@Sidney - You're welcome. Bear in mind sometimes people reply to something found in a Google search, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again some time.

Why start a new thread when one perfectly captures the issue? It was a healthy bump to remind Zos we miss Pacrooti.


Now I just grab and erase all of the hireling mails. Just don't care anymore. It literally ruined that for me to lose Pacrooti. He was my absolute favorite.
