Showing offline in Guild

So after this second update any chance my Guild status will show online after not being able to play for two evenings, that would be nice!

    Have you gone to your contact page and checked if you can set yourself to Online?

    There does seem to be an issue somewhere.

    I'm constantly ONLINE, whether I choose to appear offline, busy or whatever, I always show as online.

    This isn't new , its been showing me as offline for months. Lost a good spot in a decent guild 0for being inactive even though I was on every day.

    I doubt they were a decent guild if they kicked you on the grounds of reading a bugged status, even though you were in communication with them and playing with them every day.

    I would suggest anyone affected by this bug send an in game mail to their guild GMs to let them know - when guilds have an inactivity policy it can be difficult to keep track when kicking inactive members as the roster sorts by most recent log-in, and I very much doubt that anyone would want to kick an active member over a bug like this. Just let them know, and they can put a note not to kick you.

    Not communicating via guild chat?

    Find it hard to believe a good guild would kick you for not appearing online if you were still communicating with them :/

    Support said they are aware of a problem and will try and sort it.

    Agreed but still. Kind of crappy no one could speak up like, wait a tick, I was in a dungeon with this chap last night. Also if it was a trade guild they could see you posted items for sale so you were definitely on.

    Yeah amd I was a regular seller and moved a lot of items too. Lol Sent messages but said they were never recieved. No idea what happened there. I just moved onto other things after that experience.

    Who is supposed to speak up exactly? One person is usually in charge of the roster, kicking inactives does not have some sort of guild conference happen beforehand. If someone is actually online but cannot appear online because of a bug, they need to let the GM know, GMs are not psychic.

    Depends on the guild pal. And he said he couldn't let them know because he has no mic. All guilds do not rely on one member to drop people without bringing it up to other officers/members. The post he just made above yours makes all of our statements invalid though. It was a trade guild, he was selling items. They would have seen this, as well as his messages. This was just a fail guild.

    I have this issue as well, been the same since the IC update. My guy alwasy shows as offline, and always in stormhaven (regardless of where I actually am). Anyone know a fix for this?
