Wrecking blow IS powerful, it's supposed to be. It's the main dps skill for the "heavy weapons" skill tree. Deal with it.

Instead of crying on the forums all day trying to ruin other peoples builds, why don't you push to have your style buffed? That would be a better way to spend your time and energy. If you are frustrated with your lack of viable options, why are you wishing that exact situation on others?

I destroy WB spammers. Just block and only use blockcasts against them. Heal up if needed. Their health will drop faster than your health or your Stamina because they can't block while spamming WB. Once they stop spamming to heal or block you just go offensive and never let them start spamming WB again. Pressure.

Why? Because stamina users are accepted to don't have the capacity to deal with button combos and the low numbers we magicka builds have to? Because in 2015, stamina MUST be superior to magicka, because yolo?
I think your comment says more than enough about YOURSELF, actually. You just want an OP skill to rely on, that's all. As probably every WB spammer here does.

For a wrecking blow to land on you, you have to be in the 7m frontal cone of the attacker and remain there for one second.

If you stay within 1m of him and constantly circle him/run through him never staying in his frontal cone for more than a fraction of a second, he will have a very hard time completing the attack. He will constantly wind up the blow -> fail due to target not in front of him. Wind up -> fail. Wind up -> fail. If he ever manages to land one, immediately CC break (while you still are in the air) and immediately follow up with a roll dodge through him (this will make the follow up wrecking blow fail again).

During this dance, he is continually trying to use a casted ability, and thus not blocking, which leaves him open to any damaging ability which is instant, like surprise attack or low slash (i like low slash on my DK since it also snares the WB spammer, making it even easier to sidestep his WB's)

Both have a wind-up/charge time..CF though having a chance to instacast.

Which is laughable, you can jog into their character model and it'll cancel the animation for WB. Lets be real here.

I used 2H for a time then switched to DW due to how common it is for the animation to simply be cancelled because the enemy moves slightly to the left and such.

If anything I'd say CF is more OP since they can run away and spam high damage skills that due to the lag in pvp will most likely hit you even when you're in mid-dodge roll.

Should at least in fairness sake make it so if you hit someone casting CF it stuns them akin to how people want WB to be nerfed.

CF can be reflected,dodged,dodge rolled,blocked and bashed, and costs quite a lot if you're hardcasting. Lets face it,if you're consistently getting hit with CF then you're doing it wrong, and if you're hardcasting CF constantly then you're also doing it wrong.

Wrecking blow can't be reflected,costs next to nothing, cant be blocked half the time and sometimes perma stuns. For CF to be really effective you need to time it with curse ect. CF does not need a nerf. Sorcs have been nerfed enough.

I agree. Surprise attack is much more difficult to deal with given that there isn't an easy counter. Either you are built to handle the damage or you die.

OMG is everyone going to complain about every other person skill cuz it kills you and say this needs to stop pretty soon everything will be nerfed and this game wont be hard at all is that what everyone wants i dont get it...

If you cant take a 11k hit, then you need to look at your build, not complain about someone else's.

I was in PvP last night and hit literally no one for the wb cc. Combine constant movement with lag and I rarely make contact with wb ever. I'm thinking of just taking it off my bar. Who is using this effectively? Nb's out of stealth? Low level pvpers? No one stands around to get hit with wb anymore and if they do, they have cc immunity.
