Wait a minute... that almost like the "just use voice chat to find groups" counterargument to adding Text Chat lel.
TLDR:
PvP => Wants Arena - But can easily host their own 1v1s / 2v2s / XvXs.
PvE => Wants Text Chat - But can easily use voice chat to find groups, sell things, etc.

Relmyna✭✭I think some people want arena style fighting because it would allow for some sort of leader board and you could potentially duel your own faction. I don't see how it would really hurt the game, so why not (other than development costs)?
I also understand the desire for text chat on consoles because the voice chat has to be annoying as hell. I've seen some videos of city voice chat, and I wouldn't be able to handle the annoying trolls and people with a lack of social skills. I'm so glad I play on PC.

Probably awesome, but can give rise to outcries for class 'balance'. They may need to try more cyrodiil small scale objectives first. This might spread the zerg out.
Give us a reason to remain loyal to a server/remove guesting/consolidate servers after the lag is fixed. I remember the old days of DAOC before server transfers.
