Every time that he appears on my quests and i am doing his objectives i feel like playing the Batman Arkham games, its exactly the same experience with the Joker he puts you into hard situations and he tells jokes every time while you are trying to progress

There may be some similarities... but there are just as many if not more differences.

In the end, its a bit like comparing Darth Vader and Doctor Doom...

    Sheogorath is Sheogorath.

    The Joker is... mistah J!

The Joker was mentally insane, Sheogorath is a child trapped inside a daedric princes body. While both seem wildly dangerous, they do have their differences.

Sheogorath is not evil, Joker is. There is a difference. Sheogorath was cursed by other princes which turned him into a chaotic madman, but he in his essense is not evil nor good, he is just... Sheogorath. Joker on the other half is a deranged and evil lunatic who knows he's evil and does it for his own twisted reasons.

Sheogorath is the Daedric Prince of madness. True madness incarnate, if you are unfamiliar with Daedric Princes. Anything and everything Sheogorath does is madness and therefore neither good nor bad. The player always encounters Sheogorath in a "good" mood because to encounter him otherwise would result in having six new angry arms. Or being purple. Maybe inside out. It would result in death or permanent unwanted change either way.

And Sheogorath in a good mood...

    Is funny.

Well, if you completed Mage Guild quest line, you could hear some hint about his unnatural state, i.e. hint about Jyggalag, and thats i like the most from entire quest.

The thing I don't like about sheogorath is that he doesn't seem mad enough. I find Delerium of the Endless from the Sandman comics to be a much better mad god, but then it's probably a difference between daedra and the endless - daedra carve out a domain to rule over based on things they fetishise in mortals but can't ever truly understand, whereas Delirium is a personification of madness itself and is as helpless and bewildered a lot of the time.

There's a strange kind of tragedy with daedric princes in how they can never actually be what they try to be - molag bal can never truly dominate other living beings, Azura can never be the goddess she wants to be, however much Meridia loves the living she can never know what it is to be one of them, etc. They're like sentient falsehood, un-gods ruling over un-worlds that yet have the ability to interfere with and invade the real world

Meh, i like ESO's Sheogorath a lot more than Oblivion's, a lot more witty and chaotic in the way he speaks. Some people prefer other way around but not me. I personally think ZoS nailed it how Sheo should act and talk. In Oblivion he just seems, generic, an attempt to create madness, but in ESO it actually does feel like you're talking to a madman, they got that down perfectly. I've played and leveled 4 toons and Sheo's quests are the only ones i still enjoy and giggle to every time.

    Well said @Stranglehands.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.

That is never a bad idea! And not only the basic books, but also the side stories... "From the pages of The Sandman - Death: At Deaths Door" is one that often gets overlooked... (and its the one with the scene I referred to ;) )
