    I'm expecting them to introduce a passive that buffs your spell and weapon damage based on the number of allies around you next. Oh wait, they basically do that when your faction zergs the map.

    We players are a part of problem. I don´t think they would do all these changes if there wasn´t a ton of QQ. Justfied or not. In this case we won´t know how it is supposed to be improving playing Cyrodiil. Doesn´t make any sense.

    Never seen a zergling go invisible to res some other zergling. They have the numbers. They do not have to bother as there are still 30 more around to spam healing springs/steel tornado.

    On the other hand, a small group going against bigger numbers has to be able to res people fast and without getting interrupted, as the others in the group need every man they have.

    Nerfing stealth ressing seems to be a nerf to smaller groups from my point of view.

    Few fixes for PvP:
    - Decrease outgoing damage by X% for each ally within a 10M radius (probably 5 or 10%).
    - Increase resurrection time to 20 seconds (but allow stealth).
    - Remove AOE Cap.
    - Remove Spell damage from the Kagrenac's Hope set and replace it with a small Healing Done bonus.



    Tada: Just fixed complete PvP situation.
    - People can't stack anymore since their damage will reduce greatly if doing so.
    - When people stack (for safety or whatsoever) a single person can just walk in and melt them.
    - Big groups will no longer be able to endlessly resurrect their teammates like its nothing.
    - HEALERS will be able to resurrect their teammates faster (if they can't keep them alive at least they can pick them up faster).
    - The removal of the spell damage will be fixed with the next update, and the Law of Julianos set (Magicka version of Night Mothers Gaze).

    I presume posters above me mean Camelot Unchained (http://camelotunchained.com) by "CU". Honestly, I hope that CU is the DAOC successor people are hoping it will be, but realistically, I think anyone pinning their hopes on CU should be prepared for disappointment even though Mark Jacobs and company are correctly focusing on "Tri-Realm" PvP before all else.

    no invis bat ress, when you're outnumbered you will 100% get interrupted ress if not invisible during and after a fight when you try to ress (idk about you but in our grp we're used to be camped for 10 mins when we have one member down) while a big grp can just ress in peace because you cant really interrupt everything when you get overswarmed, even if you use interrupt spells.

    I recall one time I wiped a group of 5 or 6 players in a keep...only to have a magicka NB escape. By staying invis he was able to ress 3 or 4 of his players before I could even get in range to "reveal" him. With this change he would have been able to get maybe 1 ress off before I could interrupt him.

    Battle Ressing in this game is too strong. This is a great change to a cheesy mechanic that just made no sense.

    Once again, if your whole strategy revolves around how best to resurrect your dead....you're doing it wrong.

    Yes ofc 2 good groups 4vs4 this change doesnt do anything, but I can give you a secret... most of players you fight in cyrodiil are bad and run in much larger group,. So yeah you need invis bat ress agaisnt those bad players. Its not much fun when you get zerged down to have to ride because some crap mechanic made ress impossible for small groups who actually already take risks going far from their homekeeps (and far from their own zerg) also, as I said many people spend their time camping corpse of smallscale players, it's already an easy job it shouldnt become even more easy.
    Anyway good for you if you enjoy this change I hope you will have fun facing zergs, because this will be without me and most of smallscale players I can say already.

    Ofc my whole strategy doesnt revolve around resurection but it may takes a huge part in the issue of a fight, and in the actual fun we get in game (cba riding even more because of crappy mechanic, when my mate could just have ressed me after we got zerged down). But yeah ofc on EU server we're all noobs basing our gameplay on how fast we can ress, thanks for your awesome advices man really appreciated.

    Because this change will not affect anything at all for the really big groups. But it will change a lot for the small groups out there.

    I'm just going to say this. As an objectives PvPer who also runs freelance solo, I find "small PvP groups" very annoying. They are mostly PUG hunting gank groups who set up shop at or near resources, outposts or bridges to kill players trying to get to a keep battle. They are not seeking skill based fights, rather ganging up 2-5 players on 1 by 1 as they trickle by. Ironically, they encourage more players to ride with the zerg because solo players don't like being out numbered any more than you do.

    Secondly, I make it a habit to camp bodies and wait for the friend that got away to come back and try to rez the group. The white rez energy points to your exact position whether you're invisible or not. I'm just going to drop an AoE stun on you anyways. You can always just snake up, unstealth, rez, and than both restealth. If you are fast enough, and some of you are, it should work.

    Finally, when I'm riding and I see the telltale white cross of an ally, I know you are in the area. So I will stealth, and try to rez the player so they don't have to ride back. That means this nerf will hurt me more than it hurts you, but I'm not the one QQing.

    You can already tell when someone is rezzing someone when they are invisible (even if the beam isn't in the right place). Seems like an unnecessary change and proves, once again, that people making decisions don't know the game.

    I understand being upset. It was an unnecessary change. But why is everybody so crazy about CU? That game is being set up to be a huge zerg-fest, and there are so many promises being lined-up I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of impending disappointment.

    I feel like I should go around taking screenshots of all the promo screens on the website just so a year after release I can go back and reference what was suppose to be delivered.

    Or it could actually make your entire group win against larger numbers if a person can pull off an invisres in moments where you really need everyone in your team to be alive. Small scale effectiveness doesn't revolve around being dead no, it revolves around not dying to larger numbers and if you do die, your partner can ''waste'' an ult to bring a player back from the dead without getting pounded on by 20 nightblades. A player is more worth than an ult imo. And... Yeah nerf cloak enough said about that. :blush: And to your last statement, do you know what healers are for? To heal and res people. Do you understand why a healer would use kagrenacs and invisres? Because they are doing it wrong? rofl
