If a player has a single stripe (i.e. is a recruit), more often than not I will leave her be. If a low ranked player is aggressive or playing in a away that is just bad for PvP (last week a recruit rode up to an enemy keep on his horse), I will whisper advice if they die quickly.
If you are a sergeant and this isn't your first rodeo, we are in a PvP zone so let's PvP. If the fight gets drawn out because we can't kill each other, I will respect a player's desire to disengage to do something else. You sir, are an honourable gentleman...gentlewoman? . This damsel approves..If we meet..my alliance rank is 3..so don't kill me, because I'll most likely kill myself anyway ,falling off a cliff or running into a mob while picking flowers
