Biting Jabs is broken in pvp ! fix please!
Like the title says biting jabs is broke. I could use the the skill 10 times on someone in pvp and they lost maybe 10% of their health. Im talking about even light armor wearers. People with shields the skill doesnt even seem to work. When i use it in pve it works fine. During pvp it does not even make the sounds of when each jab hits. It makes no sound and honestly feels like it is not even hitting people when im using the skill right ontop of them. Ive seen multiple other threads with people discussing having this same problem so i know im not the only stamina templar noticong this. PLEASE FIX and for the love of yoir game fox your animations. Its been nearly a month and you still havent fixed game animations. Come on man take some pride in your work.

Ffastyl✭✭✭✭✭The LoS check seems to be done when Biting Jabs is activated so either all/most hit or none at all depending on initial positioning. In PvE there are likely more LoS checks (because less performance issues) so the skill behaves more logically. ✭Have you tried not attacking air? Most players do stand in a channeled cone attack and hitting it over and over and over again like it's a single target attack that can only go off it the target is in range it's your problem. I have seen players just spamming the hell out of that power on door and air way too much.
My Stamina Templar uses it in PvP with no problem unless a heavy lap spike hits but then all my powers act up then.

Man i been usin templar for awhile i used magicka templar for months with no issues and i know how to aim my biting jabs. I recently made a redguard templar for stamina based damage and in pve the biting jab skill works fine.. when i watch videos on youtube it seems pc is having no issues. For ps4 though something is definitly off with this skill. Just like all the animations and other featurrs that are bugged outfor the ps4 system. Something isnt lining up with this skill. Like i said right now i can biting jabs someone directly infront of me without them moving and its doing nothing more than half the time.0

guess use something like wrecking blow until it gets fixed.

✭✭✭✭Punbcturing Sweeps seems to be bugged against sheilds as it don't get its damage bonus when hitting shields, im a magic Templar though, cna't confirm if the stamina morph suffers from this.
As for hitting your target, Jabs take some practice in order to use. While im not as good as i'd like to be, im getting the hang on using it, remember its a cone, if your standing too close to your target it will miss.
Also, if your a stamina build,. use Stampede to Snare before hitting Jabs to make it harder to avoid.

like i said i used puncturing sweep on my magicka templar for months with no problem.. i know how to aim it.. something is very off with the skill right now. the numbers are not adding up and when i am hitting targets their health barely moves. and even when i hit it does not make the confirmation jab sounds that it usually does.0

heres a link to a video i just made showing my jabs doing almost no damage to a vet 5 (im v16 with 170 CP) thats not even blocking. and showing how their is no hit sounds coming from the jabs. this is a vet 5 im doing almost no damage too.. vet 16s i dont even see their life bar moving when i jab them.. its ridiculous0

I think you pretty much proved your point. It really doesn't seem right on your vid. I'm experiencing something similar. jabs doing no sound, but then the damage appears few moments later. Or not. Unfortunately, I don't think it is. Seems to be a common problem with some PC/Console gamers where they're unable to adjust the camera to follow their target while also moving their character with the target as well. I've seen a lot of templars in IC/Cyrodiil sitting stationary while spamming Biting Jabs as if they're a turret implanted into the ground. For this reason, I can easily see how the OP or others may think Biting Jabs is a terribad skill, when in fact, it's actually amazing in the hands of someone who's able to perform two different actions at once with both hands/fingers. Dyride✭✭✭✭✭In the video, you are hitting your target and doing damage, even on the vr5 person. They have ~30k health so your jabs are not going to show as 25-35% of their health.

I didnt play this game for a over a week was debating quitting cuz so many bugs and issues but intested it out again last nite and pvp went mich smoother.. my jabs were actually making hit sounds and i was doing damage that seems to be what the skill post it as. Whatever they did in last patch must have fixed alot of issues. Their was definitly something wrong b4 but i believe it is fixed now for the most part0
