More Player Stories?

I often wonder why more people do not post stories. I know there was at one time a strong RP base here, but seldom see stories. I understand you do not have to write stories to be a good rp'er, but that is usually where the character stories come from. I know there are other sites that people post their stories on, but I always feel disconnected when I do that, as if it isn't official (I know they aren't really official, just lack of better wording).

I would like to encourage some that may have wanted to but have not posted stories to do so. They will be read, and enjoyed, whether you are a novice, a professional, or like me, just get that story itching at your brain and you have to write it. It seems to bring out in me more of a desire to play the characters I write about, even if my story has little to do with ingame happenings.

Well I did try to open a thread about origin stories with my own (badly written) story of my first character (not the one who dances in taverns like he is from Solsthiem) but it got buried in the dust after a few responses. I really need to edit it but an severely lacking motivation to do so...

Yes there was a thread like that which actually ran for a couple of pages, there's some good stuff there. I just wish it got revived though.

I am not talking just about origin stories, but origin stories are absolutely part of it. I have read the few origin story links, and can't help but think of how many story lines would be going if those folks kept writing.

I could write stories. I actually write stories (only in Finnish). But my English isn' t so good.

It can't be too bad, I did not realize English was not your language. Also, if you want to learn better English, write more stories!
If it makes you feel more comfortable, put a note letting folks know English is not your first language.

you are right. I start to write a new story tonight. Maybe something about Sandalf's past or maybe just something completly new. Need to think about it. I have actually roleplayed Sandalf for years and today i decided to let him go

Anyway. I need to think and write. It's good to see that we have some kind of roleplaying community on the forums here. Of course there is bunch of other roleplaying forums about Elder scrolls. So many stories.. So little time.

For the record, Luke is not for burning the body until we know he is actually dead. Not that Luke is against burning live bodies, mind you, but it could ruin his cover.

I have a hard time getting attached and even playing characters unless I have some backstory and character development. Im currently putting together my first on paper Character Development list for my Imperial Templar. I'll be doing the same for my Bosmer NB, Nord Dragonknight and Altmer Sorcerer. It just takes time. Especially making sure the Character Development is accurate so that I can continuously refer back to it when I go to build stories for those characters.

So far Im really wanting to get into my Nightblades story as shes paired with a Clouded Senche-Leopard and I'll be writing stories that revolve around both of them and individual stories for them.

I used to be really in to writing stories about my Skyrim Character Lestari, I've been roaming RP forums for a bit and I'm tempted to get back in to it with my new ESO Lestari.

I'm just extremely rusty now! Also I wish text chat was a thing on Xbox. I hate using mic.
