Based on the recent CP poll, the average is closer to 200-300. ZOS said they want to inconvenience as few people as possible with the cap, but on the other hand, if you place it too high it won't have any real effect at all.Forcebuster wrote: »The Cp system has been out for a long time now, assuming the cp cap is going to coming in 2-3 months that means if the average right now is 400-600. In 2-3 months the average will be probably 800-900 so to give those people more time to invest and get cp,the first cap should be atleast 1000-1200 depending on how long the caps last.

Way off.....maybe you're just feeling entitled to "competitiveness" or a "power level" you didn't work towards? The reality is I'm a successful engineer who works hard for everything I have including CPs. My opinion is to not ask for hands outs or for a trophy for just showing up to try-outs.

Which is why it is important for people not to expect too much from the cap. It will only be to remove the excesses. They cannot put is so low that it starts affecting people who have done nothing very remarkable to get where they are, except having gotten here early, recovering their enlightenment and perhaps a bit more.
Rich has said they are also working on a catch-up system. If you're low on CP that is what you will have to pin your hopes on.

No, we really don't.
please think that we get (for average players) ~2 CP per day,

I'm not a scrub so I can clearly see that CP is not an issue. Lazy druggie gamers, that's an issue.

I used to think that way back when CP was relatively low. A few days ago I fought a terrible player with 1200 CP. I was enlightened by the experience. Thats 1200 CP. Lets talk about what 600 CP buys you.
+24% Damage Done, +24% Regen, -24% Damage Taken, -24% Ability Cost. This is insignificant in your "engineering" mind right? Go back to school.
Just because these scrubs can play 10 more games of chess than you or I can each day, doesn't mean they should start each game with 4 queens.
All they are doing is AOEing NPCs all day with EXP pots. Why should that be rewarded in PvP?
