No loot because of Zergs!

First off let me state im a big fan of The Imperial City "besides all the NPCs who get involved in battles and the issue im stating here"

Pleases fix this im tired of running with a group and fighting a boss and another group comes out of nowhere and i don't get any loot because they did more DPS.

    Unless they changed the mechanic from announced, its MUCH worse to be in a zerg, but people dont realize it. This is from Rich Lambert on the ESO Live IC special, (timecode 56:28):

    You can have up to 12 contributors, (including those outside the group).... as long as you do up to 10% of the damage/heals,

    If you have 30 people beating on something, only 12 are gonna get something.

    If you are in the top 12 INDIVIDUALS then you get TV stones and loot.
    Power level to CP160 in a week:
    Where is the end game? You just played it.
    Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

    two groups adding each other = everyone gets loot.

    12 people and each is doing 10% of the damage? ok you have healers in the group but some people do significant more than 10% I would guess... and what about tanks?

    gladly I can do most stuff solo, only molag needs at least 2. but that´s too risky anyway at the moment with all these farmgroups...

    but seriously, if you need 11 more people to kill stuff in IC you should rethink your build. and don´t tell me it´s about grouping up with friends, I see those bs calls in zonechat all the time ("lfm farmrun boneshards/dark ether)...

    I remember when vet dungeons first came, all chests were lootable by who was first, they changed it, but now they are back to this a-hole way. Do they never learn. Id understand if this game had high popultion, a-hole way would be great way to go, but we all know this game doesnt have one.

    I think you're giving too many ppl the benefit of the doubt... I think most people realize it but, ya know, safety in numbers thanks to the crap state of the game

    Safety in numbers is the reason why zergs rule IC. When you are in big group you don't need to worry about your TV stones, gankers won't touch you, mobs will melt and only bigger zerg can stop you.

    One run to sewer center with 12man group- at least 1000 TV stones in your pocket. Safe and easy. Trying to get same amount solo or small group will take more time and increases risk of being ganked.

    Until players are afraid of loosing their TV stones zergs will rule IC.

    Chests in the outside world have never been shared, and chests in the sewers shouldn't either, it's not a closed instance for a group of people. If the chests would be shared with everyone on the server, they would be farmable till server gets maintainance.
    The problem here is that they made Cyrodiil so big and empty, yet the Imperial City area is much smaller and full of pve content. Mobs are everyhwhere, and people farm them for items, so there are always many groups and people running around, farming eachother and the mobs. It is safest to go with a group, because you avoid getting killed by enemy players - at the cost of loot :/
