Sooo much complaining!!....I LOVE this game!

Hey complainers they're working hard to make us all happy, give them some time and credi!
That said.....
I just got to v1 and have an open question.
Before I jump into the big battles, I want to quest all that I can. I can't find a concise thread that talks about all the new ways of what I'm working towards. I'm sure I'm gonna sound stupid, but what are those stones in my character breakdown.
I'm sure you can tell I'm new to mmos, but I think this game is awesome:)
Thanks for any input.

Many have got bored of waiting though, no one and I mean no one I orginally played with plays any more.

ZOS has had a long time to get there crap in order, but many things are still broken, to get round this they just don't talk or aknowledge it.

Many other games are released that have problems admittedly, but these are mainly fixed in the first 6 months, they also introduce a few bugs on new addtions. However ZOS still hasn't fixed some issues they have had since launch, some infact have got worse! They bring lots of new bugs in every update and consistently break further the skills they were meant to be fixing in the update.
The Combat system has had 3 major over hauls since launch, meaning hard earned skills and gear, once again have no meaning. Hard earned gear is the word because the reward system in the game is quite simply broken...

But yes it's a beautiful game that had promise.

hey would get credit for what they do when they stop breaking everything when they fix 1 thing. its like "oh we fixed the blah blah blah but no banks are broken long load screens you get stuck in walls that aren't there 1 shot by a light boss attack lose regen of stam magicka and hp but hey we improved the look of the armor come on guys give us a break...."

idk why bethesda chose this nameless hopeless company to partner with. has anyone even heard of zenimax before eso? because I have not. a nameless corporation to manage all this was a dumb idea. someone more reliable like blizzard should have been in charge.

Nice to hear from a non-jaded gamer for a change.

inb4 "You're just a newbie. You don't understand our plight."

And unless I'm mistaken, Zenimax is a part of Bethesda, originally their marketing department, I believe?
At any case, I clearly remember seeing their logo when I played Morrowind, so....

Stones? Are you referring to the Tel Var stones or maybe the Champion points?

I love the game. Watching old youtube videos the PvP is MUCH better. The PvE was TOO easy. I also think the PC had to wait for console to start with a consistent fix rate and updates.

Neverwinter had even more problems on launch, so many missions were uncompleteable. PvE dungeons sucked hard etc...

They can fix things and all mmos have to go through growing pains. How many complaint threads do you now see about: CP imbalance, sorc shield stacking, etc...? Far far less now

Alright, it IS a good game. Big changes break things, it happens.

Anyways, the 'stone' is probably your mundus stone. You discover them while exploring and they all do different things, super handy. You can have 1 at a time. There is a set (crafted, Twice Born Star) that allows you to have 2 mundus stones active.

Just walk up to one and press E, or, err.. whatever your "use" button is on your platform.

    http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Mundus+Stones

Go there to see what they do and where you find them.

As well, since you hit VR1, when you finish the main story quest (with the prophet) you are still not done questing! You can do Caldwell Silver and Gold, which takes you to the other 2 factions zones where you can complete all their quests!

They also recently bumped up the XP for those Caldwell quests, plus it now takes less XP to gain a VR level.. so you're in luck.

Also go ahead and google "ESO champion points" because you are going to start getting those too :)

I don't really see very much complaining here, at least not compared to e.g. the ESO Facebook page.

Pointing out things that are bugged in a game != complaining.

or more but ppl complain about cp and want nerfs instead of load screens and game mechanics that don't work like the broken armor set that makes you take 2x dmg from bosses in IC sewers but cp and skills are the big problems lol

Tired of people that just picked the game up telling us that have been dealing with all the BS for years and/or months depending if you're PC or console to "chill out". Come to me in 2-3 months when you're favorite part about the game has been ruined, because it will, it always happens in this game.

The first thing you should do as a new player is stay away from the forum. Only read it at work when you're bored. When you're at home enjoy the game. At least that's what I'm doing, besides the occasional post here :)

I guess everyone has a different experience with the game. I haven't experienced all the major bugs / issues mentioned on here including the latest loading screen problem. They are definitely longer but nothing that bothers me or has a negative impact on my enjoyment of the game. I play the game since early release last year on PC and copied my account to consoles. I bought the XBox version to see what it's like to play with controller. Even though I told my sister's boyfriend I'm either on PC or XBox he "accidentally" bought a PS4. So I had to buy one last weekend as well as another copy of ESO. I have to say it's pretty much the same game again and I am enjoying every minute of it.

I hope you won't be affected by the negative mood on the forum. And now log out and play the game. Don't come back!

did you get an answer to your generic stones question? i dont know if we know what stones you mean.
    1. champion points? these are star constellations unlocked when you become "veteran" ranked but may look like stones not stars?
    2. Tal Var stones are now mentioned in the bank screen which are from the Imperial City DLC
    3. and Mundus stones i assume you have found before? but are buffs.
I hope you continue to enjoy the questing you have plenty to do! unfortunately my friends saw how slow the progress on the XP bar went and all the extra content and were daunted by it, and stopped playing, that among other reasons (poor group finder and lacking text chat). but if you enjoy quests im sure you have plenty to do yet.

The devs absolutely do work hard and deserve credit. That's a given. But it's management who decides how much money to put into the game, and how to allocate that money. The number and quality of developers employed is a management choice. Task assignments/priorities are a management choice. A lot of the questions/complaints on the forums that relate to time really boil down to management choices, and they are valid.
