    I got one shotted in IC for 85K today by this exploit. Why has this not been fixed. People exploiting should be banned. I did report the person.

    I couldn't make it through the OP. Some punctuation would really help.

    I've witnessed an issue where a group mate was killed by a trap, and kept dying instantly when respawning on it. She managed to roll dodge out of it, but died like 5 times before she could time it right. So I'm not sure if that's working as intended, but there is some room for improvement.

    People are using this and a combo of rearming trap and evil hunter +any aoe tick damage skill is allowing stamina users to push their dps above 140k dps a second over 2 minute duration. people are Soloing alot of content right now.

    Players are even forming groups that are stamina dps with siad skills only.

    Uh, rearming trap is only supposed to rearm once, not go full auto.

    I'll confirm that this works against the dread Sweeper Boss(es) in IC Sewers. I don't even have that morph myself, but I witnessed someone drop the trap in a tunnel (to deter enemies behind them I imagine), shortly after a roaming Sweeper came along, hit the trap and in short order died from it - without a SINGLE other attack or even having him aggro on anyone.

    *note to self --- must re-morph skills*

    My first point is that I will never die to this skill. Because I am solo it will not rearm. Because I am not a vampire it will hardly hurt me.

    Before I get to my final point / conclusion I want to say the people that struggle with this skill are 'bombgroups' and 'zergers' because it rearms for each idiot (sorry) that doesn't see it or doesn't know how to counter it (dodgeroll.)

    For me, how the skill currently works is perfect. It busts up the big brainless groups in a bad way.
    For this purpose this skill (hands down) kicks the crap out of Proximity Detonation. Any PvPer will tell you Proximity Detonation works in the bombgroups favour.

    MORE SKILLS LIKE THIS PLEASE. EVEN IF THE REPROC FOR EACH TARGET IS NOT INTENTIONAL.

    Thanks for the explanation! I read which morph was messed up but didnt know the specifics. Sounds like they finally made a zerg buster ability :-D

    Exactly. Stop zerging. I plan on using this anytime I see a zerg. I will snipe one of you and set this down in a hallway and watch as you all funnel together getting wiped. This is what you get for turning small scale PvP into a cancerous zerg fest.

    Oh, than there's the one about "zerg busters", apparently any instawin button is totally fine...because zerg?

    Now imagine instead how the 40-man zerg all starts running Rearming Traps. Lets fill the entire flag room with it. How many traps can 40 people pop in one spot when stacked on top of each other? Clearly a "l2p" issue, when your smaller numbers looses that keep, because traps are so easy to avoid.

    The rearming trap work as intended vs solo / smaller groups of people who are not blobbed up 99% of the time.

    It's mindless zergs who don't dodgeroll and stack up like a ball who gets rekt by this bugged skill.

    It's still not an exploit like double mundus was, it's a bugged skill.

    It is rearming infinitely for every person, and then damaging them over and over every half second with no cooldown. The only reason you love it is because (until now) no one else has been using it. It is 100% broken and not doing anything like what the tooltip says. Anyone using it with this knowledge in their brain is exploiting. Big surprise no one used it until today.

    Just wait until a zerg of 30 drop these all around you insta-killing you and not allowing you to even move about from your home base. How good a zerg buster will it be then?

    Not true I have been using Beast trap bees trap for months now it was the lightweight trap on doors when ganking reaiming is broken yes don't mean it's up to player not to use it it's ZoS's job to fix bugs not players job to not use them.

    ZoS made a wide range of power for a wide range of play styles then made all but three visible Tank, healer and DPS

    You can't blame players for using what works just cause ZoS can't squash a few bugs

    Non-vamp and the entire group got one-shotted. One member got hit with 55k. Certainly not bugged. No sir.

    Nothing yet on people exploiting that. I know this video was meant to show people exploiting traps, but ALL exploits should be immediately prioritized and addressed.. not still going on many patches and updates later. LOL

    Those that think this is working as intended can't be more wrong. This is an exploit. Getting hit for 85K from another player should never happen. I was not in a zerg when this happened, my wife and I were alone in a group - just the 2 of us and we both got one shotted with no chance of getting out of it or defending our self's.

    It is possible to get out of the traps. But there are some big, fat caveats to do with that. First you have to know what to listen for -- that's right -- listen. Because unlike almost every other attack from players which has some visual component this is an audio only attack cue. Now you can't simply "watch the skies, traveler" you have to listen for the snapping jaws of death.

    Second, you have to react quickly, this "skill" can deal its player killing damage in a few seconds. Which leads to something you can't avoid -- lag. The lag in PvP is all too real, you can get it playing in groups waiting for a player to be added or removed. You can get it because, well, it's Cyrodiil/IC and they can't seem to fix it. If you have any lag issues (and who doesn't) then running into one of these can be an unavoidable death sentence.

    But all of that is moot. Because there are multiple threads where ZOS has stated this is an exploit and how to correct it is being worked on. However, much like the lag problem above (or the slow as molasses loading screens) I don't have much hope in them actually fixing it.

    Nothing will happen to him so why report him. Its not his fault this game is so broken with bugs. After this one is fixed. There will be another and another skill found broken and we will rinse and repeat.

    I say give us all the same gear,attributes,stats,abilities,and cp points. People will still say nerf.

    People never get banned for exploiting things in game. This has happened with so many different PvP exploits. You are more likely to get banned for opening a thread about it on the forums then you are for ever doing anything in game. The real exploiters are well protected. The few of us that are trying to hold ZOS accountable for fixing something and not letting it languish in the game for months take the most risk.

    Everyone who plays the game is aware of the bug so the ostensible "risk of others trying it" (which is the excuse they use to close threads) is very low.

    Censorship does not reduce exploiters. Hello Streisand effect.

    Actually no they are called traps for a reason to make them anything other than deadly is a mistake.

    That's the problem people in PVP have become lazy and don't want to actually think and now they want to remove the type of combat that actually makes you think of where you are and what you are doing.

    PVPers talk big they keep saying that they are the best ever and that nothing compares to their combat style until that moment you actually have something that makes them have to think about where they are and what they are doing and what their opponent is doing and then it's a flame war in the forums about what's OP.

    Traps are deadly that's why they call them traps.
