The New Vet Dungs

I done the new dungs on normal last night and asked my group why cant we try them on Vet. To my suprise some one said that they are too difficult unless you have all Gold Armour and 3600 CP or somewhere around that. Is this really true? Im sorry ZOS but i have a life and will never ever get close to that amount of CP.

That is simply ridiculous. Gold gear and more CP will make it easier, but it is possible anyway with proper coordination and everyone sticking to their roles. Knowing the tactics is obviously a must-have as well.
I tanked WGT with purple v14 gear I got myself crafted a few hours before our first try doing it and my first try tanking in this game ever. And it worked. Even though the first time took quite some time. Afterwards our runs were getting faster and faster. And that was before they nerfed the damage. It's all about patience and practice.

Ok i have to try them out now. I will Tank them so hopefully will complete them

vWGT is very doable. We had vr15 tank with ~100CP, 2 vr16 DPS with ~300 CP and vr16 Healer with ~200CP. Most gear was mixed v12-v14 purple.

Only had one try at vICP so far and couldn't get past 2nd boss. Will try again soonish. Trying to get vWGT on farm status first.

Remember 14 repair kits as minimum, if it is your first time on vet mode, and bring in capable dps.

You won't have a chance in the new vets then
It's harder than vet dsa

You shouldn't be too worried, if the dps and healing is good. You have to have potions that restores health, magicka and stamina. Also carry a restoration staff in your inventory in case of emergency.

Nothing will help you, if the dps on the team is too low though.

The adjudicator is bugged on ps4 vet version, the mechanics prison anyone and the adds alone hit for 6-8k a pop.

I've given up now and most likely going to quit. This patch is the end of pve on consoles. Especially ps4eu with the lack of skilled pve players and the downright small numbers that play. Im going back to destiny

It is, it's supposed to prison people who are the furthest away, when it's prisoning the tank right next to the boss instead.
Or unfortunaetly seeing people using the pheonix set and getting the cc bug - endless loop or dying and reviving in the cages and can't do anything to help.

Also the patch notes for pc have lowered the difficulty and fixed some bugs, so it's deffo a thing.

Why ?
None of it is a DPS race and no boss is on an enrage timer as far as I know.
It's more of matter of being organised and synchronized, and very very mobile and reactive to avoid all the AOEs.
Of course if everyone had 14-15K DPS things will be easier but I'm sure it's doable with 8K DPS.

Nothing against you in particular, but I'm a bit annoyed by all these "DPS-requirements" that make believe that it belongs to the dungeon's mechanics : it doesn't. It's just something tanks and healers like to require from DPS to make their own life easier. And DPS accept that because it makes their life more comfortable too + they put all their glory into their DPS-meter. I don't judge that BUT people should be aware that content is doable with much less numbers than people usually like to brag with.

And I disagree that the planar inhibitor or Molag Kena are more difficult than last stage VDSA. For having completed VetWGT a couple of times and VDSA countless times, IMHO it's the same level of difficulty. And with time, practice and community sharing of experience (and gear and CP progression), we will soon nuke VWGT bosses down just as quickly as we do now with poor Battlemaster.

It wasnt that it was pure difficult, it was all these tactics i had to try for final boss. Is he so difficult that u cant just tank him like on normal.

We went to the final boss on vet, our tank crashed (mac issues) and i tanked it as a templar in 7/7 light with a full healer spec, we got it down near 30% on the first try as a group of 3 with maybe two runs through it on normal and no vet experience. It's not that bad as long as you don't stand in the lightning, kill the atro's, and walk with the lightning bar.

Could clear them with 0 cp and just purple v12 and 14 gear. All it takes is knowledge of the bosses and the skill to execute.

That is exactly right. This game is not about CP or gear, its about skill and situational awareness. If you are waiting on gear or CP to help you win, you should go back to WoW.
