The real reason for the long loading screens

It's because they want us to appreciate the fine details of the artwork.

Have you ever truly looked at the loading screen and what's there? If you look around, you'll notice things that you've never seen before and be like "woah, didn't even know that was there"

    Yes I do spend more time looking at the art work. While I look at the art work, I'm also thinking about closing the window and playing something else.

    If these aren't fixed in the next patch, I'm done with the game for now.

    You know what I've noticed though? my friends' loading times seem a little quicker than mine and I was thinking maybe it's because my bank has like 160 items and 160+ in my bags that have to load, or something. I don't know, it's just speculation that maybe the more items you possess, the longer it takes to load you in a zone, especially in Imperial City since my bank lags like crazy when I'm scrolling through items inside it.

    Or maybe it's just Imperial City all together.

    The only thing that concerns me is the sanctuary buff has a set timer whereas loading times do not and alot of the times the loading screens on the PS4 are very long. I've never actually been killed yet the second I load through a door but it's bound to happen eventually.

    Actually, I just have a second monitor, so no need to alt+tab... I just move the cursor to the other monitor to do other things.

    Perhaps this is why I've never had an issue with loading screens.

    I was disappointed with the artwork, myself.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis
