the classes currently focus on magicka, with a couple stamina morphs...we need a dedicated stamina class, that has one or 2 magicka morphs...it can be a gadgets/trickster class that uses things like bombs, etc to do damage, then second as a tank...

as it stands now, to do stamina, you usually have to use weapons...whereas all the classes can go magicka purely off class skills

    too much depends on stamina , they need to break it up . roll dodge, block , and breakfree should really be its own resource. and stamina for skills just like magicka.

    if it stays like this , then give players a choice what resource each skill uses. choose your morph, then choose your resource.

    great point...ive always said that...needless to say, if they make a stamina class, there will be PLENTY built in resource management not just in the skills, but the passives also

    @ about it, seriously asking. you would have to make duplicates of all the classes. one magicka sorc, one stamina sorc.....etc.

    what if all class skills/weapon skills used magicka to use, and stamina is used just for roll,dodge, and break free? with option to increase that resource like magicka. so it would be how you spent your points. but then it might turn out that everyone does exactly the same damage.....hmmmm

    The "steam" behind this complaint/request, whatever you wish to label it, is not new and has been around since the first rounds of beta.

    ZoS has not budged an inch in the direction of stamina based class skills, save for the occasional morphs now available.

    Players learning to maximize the stamina trees in game already available to them, complimented by the magicka skills they can add to the mix, remains the dev WAI philosophy.... in other words, I wouldn't hold my breath.

    I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.


    RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

    stamina has 4 weapon skill tree's to chose from.

    Magicka has the desto staff and a healing staff.
    And 12 skill trees across four classes, minus a small amount of abilities that have stamina morphs.

    no matter what they choose to do, we need more classes, so making stamina classes would be the best thing...even if some ppl complain, most agree we do need more classes...and a stamina class would be a very welcome change

    Awesome idea, I think that this would be an awesome way to introduce a new class and get more stamina builds into the game. Yeah, let's have a new class, why not sounds awesome =)

    I agree that they should continue with class development or get rid of classes all together and let people go the path of using any skill in the class pool at the expense of another. As I recall there was original six classes pre-beta/beta but got shifted down to four.

    I also hope that they continue developing morphs so after leveling a morph there is an option to add different utility choices to a skill.

    I wasn't pointing that out because I think we should have them. I am saying that it is not something that the developers have shown any interest in no matter how much QQ about it that there has been for well over two years. Stamina morphs were a bone. There are plenty of stamina lines in the game to make very strong builds, people are just set on insisting that stamina class skills are the answer to the shortcomings they find in the choices they make. I don't agree.

    Then you need moar magicka weapons as currently 2 magicka weponnons versus 4 stamina GG
    PC, EU server, Ebonheart Pact


    Finally a reason not to play League of Legends

    Ultimates should actually scale off whatever is higher, physical damage or magical damage. So going stamina or magicka wouldn't be detrimental to your ultimate abilities.
