Recently, after quite some time, i returned to my old Templar healer Build.
Combining both the Restoring Light tree and the Restoration staff tree to have a big variety of ways to heal my allies, i have noticed that Healing Ritual has no use on any of my bars.
Be it a Hot heal or a Burst heal, Healing Ritual has no use because of its insane casting time, which makes it a fairly useless skill.
I do have a few suggestions for the skill, which i like to share:
- Reduced Casting time (and also a small amount of reduced healing or range. not both though).
Remove the complete casting time and lower the healing by around 25-50% (while keeping the range), or keep the healing as it is and reduce the range by around 25-50%.
- Make it a small version of Cleansing Ritual, without the Cleansing effect but with a more potent heal.
Heals once every 1 or 2 seconds for X seconds (could have a normal duration like Cleansing/ Purifying Ritual, and a extended duration like Extended ritual).
Healing could be around 25/50% of what it is now, with around a 25% bonus on the choses amount for the more potent morph (while the other morph gets more time).
- Make it work like the Grand healing skill, but without the need of a Restoration staff
Healing Springs Morph could give back Stamina instead of magicka.
I hope Zenimax will do something about this skill, as it has no real use for a healer atm.
