For players like me, who love PvP.

I've already spent more time in IC then I have in Craglorn
    Reften
    Bosmer (Wood Elf)
Moonlight Crew (RIP), Misfitz (RIP), Victorem Guild

VR16 NB, Stam build, Max all crafts.

Azuras & Trueflame. Mostly PvP, No alts.

Semi-retired till the lag is fixed.

Love the Packers, Bourbon, and ESO...one of those will eventually kill me.

Its called PVPVE. Im not sure if you're trolling though, I think its great addition to the game.

If you're not sure whether I'm trolling, perhaps read a book and spend less time on the internet.
You'll learn that somebody expressing a different opinion to your own, isn't trolling.
    Or...are you trolling me? ;)

Come on, you whine about NPCs, and you have never been killed by a guards in this game?

Aye, I have, but I think the NPC guards are very well balanced in Cyrodiil. They don't get in the way of PVP. I don't think that's the same in IC. I definitely get the feeling that IC is PVE content with PVP awkwardly thrown in.

I wasnt sure if pvp in a pve area would work but I have to say I like it so far. The pve content in IC is pretty easy but the pvp element makes it more exciting. There's team death match style combat in the districts without any disadvantages, this is a good place to practice pvp for players that arent used to pvp fights. Even trophy farming in the sewers is fun because you run into though roaming bosses and enemy groups every now and then.

You can be successful in small groups (4-6 players) if everyone has sufficient pvp skills, if you're not used to pvp I would suggest running with at least 8 people.

Aye, I agree with some of this. It's just a shame that for the moment, Cyrodiil - the true PVP, is totally dead, and the next step of PVE content is a sudden huge grind fest with the addition of some PVP which is far less satisfying than Cyrodiil offers.

Oh...one huge bonus that came from the patch: FAR fewer game crashes.

@DeanTheCat sums it up perfectly. I'm having fun right now but I can see the lack of goal oriented play is likely going to gnaw at me after the sheen has worn off. This would have been so much better if it was gated and/or districts could be claimed. Right now it's a hectic mess. Hectic can be fun... for a while. But after a bit I can see myself going "why am I doing this again?" and just going to grind stones in a campaign my alliance controls.

If access was gated by having to hold keeps in Cyrodiil it would have actually been a boon to both PvPers and PvErs. PvP players would have goals to accomplish and being successful at them would have given PvE oriented players relatively safe areas to grind stones. The best of both worlds.

What we have instead is every campaign that was controlled by alliance prior to IC still is and they are pop-locked 24-7 with 1-3 hour queues because the more PvE oriented players just want to get their grind on without constantly being ganked mid-fight or rolled over by a zerg.

Also, on a side note, ZOS wanted to try and get rid of buff servers and make more competitive campaigns. So why the hell did they up the price to change campaigns to 150K!?! I'm sorry but that's idiotic. If you want to break up single faction controlled campaigns why de-incentivize attempting to switch to a different campaign. Then they add two more campaigns to try help queue times but almost nobody switched to them because only dedicated PvPers are going to have 150K to blow to try them out. On top of that the queues are so long because of the number of PvE players trying to get in. These folks aren't going to have anywhere near that amount of AP. 15K they could grind out quick if the jumped in a group with some friends. 150K? Not so much.
