Breath of Life - Healing less in Cyrodiil (solved)

Hi,

Ever since "Imperial City update" my Breath of Life healing in Cyrodiil & Imperial City (sewers/districts) has been almost half of what it used to be and what it is on every other (pve) zone.


Here is a small comparison:

Cyrodiil: base heal: 6.5k+ / crit heal: 10.5k+
Other zones: base heal: 12.5k+ / crit heal: 19.5k+

These numbers came from same target (me) and with same active buffs etc.


Have any of u experienced anything similar or am I truly missing something?
I haven't found any other info regarding this, so I hope I'm not alone.

    I did read the patch notes many times, but I missed that particular info what "Battle Spirit" buff says or completely misunderstood it.
    It appears to explain the numbers I'm seeing yes, still little sad how crippled I feel as a healer.
    Well I guess its just 1 more reason to stay in pve :)

    Bear in mind that this "buff" afflicts every player in Cyrodiil, so everyone is on the same level. Also, damaging abilities have been reduced in the same scale. It was done to artificially increase life expectancy in PvP encounters and as such has its merit.

    Yes I understand and it might be partially good too.

    As a bad example: me and my wife were doing Imperial City Arena (duo) and my heals were only like 5-7k+ (at that time I thought it put some sort of heal debuff on me) and the boss& adds hit like a **uck . I was only spamming BoL since I had no time to do anything else and my heals didn't fill her or my health bar more than 25% / BoL. So in Cyrodiil (mostly IC) when doing pve this change might cause more bad than good, especially when doing the harder content solo or duo.

    Feels little frustrating from healer point of view - that's all.

    Yeah, the daedra in IC didn't get the memo and still do full damage. Just think of it as added challenge. Arena is the one thing where I actually don't consider the effort of duo'ing worth the rewards - I'd rather join a zerg going in there or go there with my group (of 10-16) to farm a bit.

    If you want fun, wait for low pop and go in there duo the district sweepers, much better entertainment :)

    Word of advice: skip the immolator. PITA that he is.

    Yeah I love the challenge, just a bit sad about feeling crippled as a healer.
    After first completing it duo, we zerged it on second time - somehow it felt even more lame, but I know what you mean :pensive:

    We mainly duo sewers now and its ok, but its not long until IC is "seen"...sadly.
