Couple of questions about vet dungeons

I have a few basic questions.

occasionally I get a yellow glow around me and have a huge speed boost. What causes this? I would love to buy this perk for myself.

Is it true we have to reset all of our skill points when imperial city comes out tomorrow (Xbox one here)

Lastly. I am level 49, and still have some group dungeons left to finish. If I roll over to level 50, does that make the dungeons turn into vet level? Is there a way to choose veteran or non veteran when I begin these dungeons?

I play with a group that is in their 30s, and don't want to suddenly not be able to join up for dungeons because I am a vet and they aren't. Any info on these few questions would greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1) The speed buff is caused when another friendly player near you casts the skill rapid maneuvers. It is a skill from one of the PvP lines, but it can be obtained pretty quickly and without doing much PvP (if you are opposed to that). If I remember correctly, I think it opens just from doing the tutorial type quests in Cyrodiil, but it's been awhile since I've had a low level character, so it may have actually required a little more effort lol.

2) Yes, your skill points will be reset and you will have to reallot them, but that doesn't mean you have to relevel skills. Make sure you log off in a safe (mob free area) tonight, because you will have no skills on your bar once you receive the update. If you don't remember where your points are allotted, I would write them down when you log in next

3) You can still do Normal dungeons when you reach Veteran Level...You just need to make sure everyone has normal dungeon selected in the group window. The dungeons will scale to the level of the group leader, so you may not want to be group leader if your friends are much lower level than you.

1: The yellow you see and the speed you get is because some one has used a speed skill, which is obtained when you do pvp.

2: The skill points will automatically be reset.

3:The dungeons level to your current level. You choose weather to do an ordinary or vet dungeon when taking the daily pledges. Otherwise the dungeons are normal, except in vet areas of course. You can play dungeons with lower levels, just make them group leader and the enemies will be of there level.

And just to emphasize, you can complete the normal dungeons while you are veteran level, if you are VR, the mobs will also be VR - but it will still be the normal dungeon. The veteran dungeons are actually a different (continuing) story with different bosses/mobs (except for the 2 new IC dungeons which normal and veteran are very close to the same)

This is probably the most important point if you are unfamiliar with the system. If you are veteran ranked and the group leader, a normal dungeon will have veteran level mobs, but it will not be the veteran dungeon. They have different setups.

You can just hire a lowbie from starter island for 200g to downscale you the dungeon, and you can solo it or do it with a friend.
