Sorc Pets/Stamina Builds

Both pets cost magicka and the damage they do is shock damage. But, I am guessing this base damage is based on magicka rather than on whichever is higher (magicka or stamina)? Is this correct?

If so, it would really help to make their damage scale off whichever resource is higher. I don't want a "stamina morph". As a toggle, spending magicka for a summon is fine even with a stam build. But if they want stam sorcs to benefit from the revised passive that gives stam regen for slotting abilities from Daedric Summoning this kind of change would be very welcome.

Stamina based pets would be nice. It definitely would enhance the "play the way you want" factor for sorcs. I love using pets, so I play magicka based. Really wish I had more pet based options.

Pets should be fixed in general before making them stamina based. They're too lackluster at the moment, many improvements needed. I don't know, why Zenimax nerfs them with each patch, even though they claim to intend to buff them.

Correct they scale with magicka and do lacklustre damage for stamina builds. The clannfear is still useful for the taunt and heal however... the others are generally not useful for stamina builds. Having them scale with the highest stat has been suggested / requested before - quite a few times tbh. And yes it would help diversity for stamina builds, but I suspect it will never happen as zos seem very reticent in providing stamina morphs or options to class skills.

@Dracane Whilst I agree pets have myriad problems, I don't think that they need to be fixed before stamina sorcerers get to use pets effectively... rather they are in the mix.
