Lore Book Notification Since Update 7

I have two vet characters. They are the only characters I had when Update 7 hit. Everything they read, including a bookshelf now triggers the Lorebook Discovered notification on the screen. When I hit E on a bookshelf and see the "Lorebook Discovered" notification it does NOT tell me what has been buffed. So I created a character Sunday and this does NOT happen with her. I see the notification when she reads a lorebook. When she reads a bookshelf and there is anything there that can be buffed I see what the buff is such as Duel Wield increased to 8. Something is wrong with the notifications on existing characters before the update.

I also started noticing this after the update. I assumed it was Eidetic memory recording books into my library. Did you choose that option at the end of the mage's guild quest line?

Yes on both vet characters. My new character is only lvl 7 and she doesn't have the issue.

Yep, I can't read a simple inventory list without having an incredibly dramatic lore book update come up on my screen. While it does make me feel incredibly important, such as my reading a private letter having ramifications throughout the universe, it might be nice to restore some 1.7 subtlety and relevance to the update.
