Really? Combat =FPS dropping from 70+ to <10

What have you guys done? I've had issues related to lag in the past (my connection fault, not the game's) but since this new patch, PVP combat is just unplayable in BWB. My fps without combat is in the 70-90 region, but as soon as combat happens with more than 2 people, it drops below 10. I have just logged off from a big fight where my fps was literally changing between 5 an 2, for 5 minutes. Whatever you did, undo it, quickly. As much as I love this game, I cannot see myself continuing to play (and pay, I've been a subscriber for 12+ months) for sub 5 fps combat.

The FPS issue isn't caused by addons. Yes, disabling addons will lower the severity but not fix the problem. The big one is minimap, the current code kills your frame rate if this is active. But even without it I still have to /reloadui every 15 minutes or so to avoid getting "freeze frame" combat. It's like being in a bad disco with ridiculous strobe lights where can here everything, but only see what's happening occasionally. And then a daedra sticks a sword into you and you die. Damn, it really is just like a bad disco.

It started today for me as well.

Dungeons we ran yesterday are acting very different today. As soon as effects of combat start, FPS drops to 5 FPS or less.

same here logged out due to 3fps no add ons installed. Looks like the lag in Cyro got converted to something else for the rest of nirn

Terrible fps problems since the patch have now made the game unplayable. And now super slow and sometimes unresponsive interactions with objects. On top of that, constant loss of connections, a new fun wrinkle. Someone please let me know when these bugs are squashed b4 I get online again.

Seconded...

Every day now for 6 days straight I have been in reapers march farming ogres for gear for decon.
I have 5 addons loaded (Note removing them just slows down the inevitable*).
After 1 hour the FPS has dropped to a crawl and is literally a slide show presentation.
[AoE has a massive impact but single target does not so much]
At that point /reloadui restores performance.
But then it returns to slide show mode in 20 mins.

There is performance degradation over time.
/reloadui just helps to restore some of that lost performance.

*and yes I have deleted shader cache / set threads to 0 in user settings / deleted addons and saved variables from their folders......makes no difference and only slows the process down.
I run the latest NVidia drivers and ESO profile on a GTX770

Well It's the reason I've been more on the forums lately than in the game. I don't know why I pay sub anymmore...

This + the fact that they nerfed and changed the whole game - again, as if we were playing a beta game. I wish I didn't feel like I was paying for being a beta tester.

Sometimes /reloadui helps, but not always. Sometimes zoning helps too, but once again not always.
It's probably the most significant problem in the game at the moment, as sometimes it seems nothing will work other than restarting the game client, which results in being removed from the Imperial City and being put back at the end of the queue.

I feel your pain.. I am getting nothing but constant disconnections. Any time I play this game the WAN light on my modem starts flashing red (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE WLAN for Wireless Light).

This indicates to me that the games info being sent back and fourth is bottlenecking because of the FPS issue.. the more people on screen using abilities the more issues I have.

It is hitting the point this game is unplayable as I am almost sick and tired of dealing with it.
