Why are trading threads not allowed?

I was just wondering because I really want to trade some of my items on a thread but it got banned.

That sums it up.

I do understand. If you had trading threads you could avoid the guild system. They don't want you to avoid the guild system.

✭Because they want you to use the (broken) guild trader and voice chat systems. Too much of a pain in the butt to actually try to trade. The people that do try just spam the same sentence over and over in area chat, which has the opposite intended effect and makes me want to get away from that person asap0 -
