Yet Dark Souls was one of your favorite games?
That game is mortal combat on crack. I bet you rage/quit every time people like me slammed you with a Parry/Reposte!
I was ungodly and made Paryy/Reposte/NoNo gesture/Finsher a thing before it was a thing lol.

The balance in PVP though is always hard. i don't think it is so bad in theory in ESO but some bugs in practice with CC immunity and CC breaking are making it more of an issue than it should be
my main annoyance is i still don't know if its a problem with all consoles/my console/controller or is it behaving just how it is meant to be. I can instantly dodge roll out of a root. But CC break seems to take time before i can activate it. And not a fixed length of time it is different depending on the stun, or its just not registering that im trying to CC break. i can spend a few seconds CC locked spamming break. Enough time for 2 insta cast abilities. You cant expect that sort of CC downtime with a TTK that is still present in 1.6/consoles without annoying a few people.
I am an old-fashioned guy in that aspect. Quake/Quake II had no CC and were the epitome of FPS genre.Wrong, even FPS games have cc. Most commonly in the forms of grenades (concussion/flash) they are the very definition of crowd control, that is their purpose. If you don't want that, there is a whole genre that caters to what you apparently prefer, called first person shooters.
