IC Arena District. AWESOME JOB @ZOS(No Sarcasm) Had a Blast!

Awesome job on the Arena Event in the Arena District!!!!!

Hey all,

I was running with one of the guilds I am in last night and we were checking out the Arena District when we came across the Arena. It limits the number of people entering into it for the event. That number of people can be from any faction. To have Yellow, Red and Blue in there while doing a DSA style arena was FREAKING AWESOME! I haven't had that much fun doing an event for a long time. With the different bosses that come up and their mobs, all the while fighting blue or reds was just a great time! I think it lets 4-6 in there. It seemed like there were 4 of us and 2 blues. Sorry blues, you were outnumbered and didn't really stand a chance.

I can't wait to do it again!!!!!

I hope there are more events of this style setup in IC. That would make it a blast every night to come across different ones like this.

Wiping an enemy group we came across in the arena is one of my favorite moments so far since launch.

I always have a blast while inside the arena. I find that if there's only few of us (and few enemy factions), there sometimes is an unspoken truce and focus on mobs. Other times, I work with blues and with reds coming inside, we team up against them and the mobs.

Definitely had an amazing time.

I haven't had the chance to play IC yet. So I'm wondering what is actually happening in the arena district event? I saw a twitch stream where a huge group was fighting Molag Bal, and that looked simply amazing!

I think that part you saw was in the center of the sewers. All three factions have different sewers that connect in the center. It's a circular area where a version of Molag Bal Spawns. Added this with all factions in there at once makes for a great time. You can come across other factions at any time, in small or large groups.

There are still the zergs that run through the areas for sure. I got rolled twice by Smurfs. It was hilarious....

We had a good size group that had to sit and watch us outside the arena. They did get wiped by a larger group that came over.... lol

We wiped as well when it was done and could finally get back out into the open area.

Yeah, don't worry about the TV stones, When you get 500-1000 port or travel back to your sewer and deposit them. When you carry only a minimal supply, the loss isn't so bad. People will carry more though as it increases their chance to get more with the multiplier that goes up based on how much your carrying. Then you take a huge risk because even a large group can get wiped.

To avoid the long queue, queue up as soon as you log into the game. Then go do your other stuff as normal and enter when it pops. You can always re-queue if your in the middle of something as well. The later in the evening though is when you get those really big queues. I've logged into 70+ for the last two nights.

From the almost non amount of upper IC ive seen it looks amazing.

I know the argument is all over about PvE being mixed with PvP. But what the heck if it is this fun, and works, then power to them. From what I have seen of this arena brought a smile to my face.

IC has it's challenges for sure but can be well worth it. Besides the NPC's, there's enemy factions everywhere you have to watch out for. It's very challenging due to everything that can kill you. A lot of the bosses in there can one shot you just by looking in your direction so watch out for those roaming the sewer halls. If you don't have a group of 4 with a healer, get away from them quick!

This update has really been a great addition to the vanilla that was the games lack of difficulty for most areas.

If you like PVP and challenges, IC is just what you need......

I come from Guild Wars 2 WvW [PC] never once set foot in a dungeon, and Battlefield 4 PS4 MP. I am a PvP player first and foremost. I understand these PvE players complaints even though it is alien to me the way they think.

You want something bad enough though, you go get it. If there is a wall in front of you stopping you get what you want. You either learn to knock it down, or climb over it.

When my two ESO characters hit level 15, I joined the vet campaigns because I wanted to face all the dangers, to get better. To become more aware of the dangers of VR 14 PC transfers etc.
