Loading Screen

How come every loading screen is 30sec+ after the update? not only the first like we're used to (game compiling stuff locally) but everything. it's so sad and make IC much less enjoyable (otherwise i love it)

At least you're in IC, but yeah, I'm having the same problems with load screens.

The loading screens take forever with my gaming that loads a battlefield map in a few seconds.
and every time I switch from zone the UI interface scaling goes back to default.
besides that Pvp was kind of too full for me. I came back from a meeting thought I still could go 1-2hours in pvp.
Sadly I joined 2 pvp campaigns 1 as home and one as guest. The home campaing had 80 queue and the guest had 150 queue. too bad I couldn't play the content today. I hope it will be less crowded by then.

They plan on fixing it Monday. Guess in their ultimate wisdom they could not implement a Hot Fix prior. So in a nut shell ZOS support of this major problem is for players to deal with it until Monday. Gee thanks...................

Yesterday i was play or should i say try to play ESO it feel like i was sit more watch loading screen on PC version of ESO then was in game play and honest it is get really boring to read newspaper while you wait for loading to be done i think i see loading screen 15 time if not more yesterday annd honest it feel it take like 1 - almost 2 min before loading is done.

It feel like i watch more loading screen more then i play this wonderful game it have come to that point that if i'm game i honest dont want change zone or to dungeon or join group for dungeon for simple fact that loading time take way to long and dont come say to me that it is my internet for we are sit on fiber 100/100 and it is not my computer other for my gf have computer that is like 6 month old and her take long time to load in to thing.

I'm sorry but why can ZoS speed up loading and why do we need to get loading screen when we enter game to come to other character page?

And this may just me be but everytime we get new patch it feel like loading time just get longer.

I would love to see that ZoS really take notice of post like this for i have see other say the samething here on forum

Honestly, I've not noticed any major issues with loading screens, nothing out of the usual at least. From time to time I will get an endless loading screen which requires me to restart the game, but other than that I've not noticed any longer than usual loading screens.

My loading screens seem to be anywhere between 3 - 20 seconds.

it's been taking 3 mins+ to load a character in shornhelm, rivenspire as I type

edit: killed the client, logged back on as a char in wayrest, ONLY took one minute to load.
loading time is still atrocious at best (for me at least)

Does anyone remember when The Witcher (the first one) came out on PC? The loading screens were about as long as the ones we are currently experiencing in ESO.

The Witcher was all about exploration, going in houses looking around and freedom, but the loading screens just to enter a house were so long (30-40 seconds) it completely killed the fun of exploring in that game. After a while you just didn't bother anymore.

They later released a patch for it, and then later even re-released the game as a special (read; sorry we screwed up the first one) edition.

I really hope ESO can find a way to speed these up. It's just torture.

For me loading screens are longest when traveling to cities, especially packed ones! Anywhere else it isn't bad. Come to think of it, it might just be traveling via recall or wayshrine in general...

What I hate the most about the loading screens is that you get less than 2 seconds to read that carefully crafted nugget of lore (description) about the area you are entering for the first time, before it switches over to those dreadfully overused and seriously unneeded "helpful game play tips"! YAY! So as I am running through Cadwell's Gold on speed mode (ignoring NPC conversations, just getting the facts out of them), I get to sit for no less than 2 minutes in a loading screen, that repeats the same crap over and over again because even though I have been playing since beta, and my only character is my main v16 with some serious achievements under his heavy Nordic belt, I still need a reminder that "Some quests grant skill points as a reward upon completion". The one chance I am required to take a breather and enter a new interesting NEVER BEFORE SEEN area, when I used to ponder upon the possibilities that the description could be implying... I AM BORED OUT OF MY SKULL and just extremely annoyed.

This demonstrates a complete lack of respect for players' time. Ridiculous.
The only substitute for victory is overkill.
