Due to the nerfing of nirnhoned traits and the near elimination of the viability of stamina builds, especially for tanking, I have decided I need to greatly reduce my investment in ESO. I am encouraging those that feel the same to take the same action. Zenimax won't listen to anything other than their revenue stream. So that's what we have to do if we want to see the gaming experience we pay to have.

The problem is, if they use the revenue stream to adjust the game, then the amount of players becomes smaller and smaller until they cant afford to meet payroll anymore and shut down. They need to learn how to maximize profit by increasing their revenue stream and keeping MORE people happy with the game so that they spend more. That's how you become successful. Quick money grabs are a turn off for gamers with cash that want to spend money on the product but cant justify it.2 -

I totally sympathize with you.
Whatever long term plan there might have been a year ago seemingly has gone out the window.
With each "fix" things seem to move forward one step and two steps back. So many bugs a year into the game. Sets get nerfed only to make the "new" sets seem better.
All the adjusting seems to be done because of PVP and I think that it's ruining the game. There will never be PVP balance and the more that they fix it the worse it seems to get. The flavor of the month class and exploit this month will be passe two months down the road because of the imbalances and it will NEVER get fixed or so it seems.
I wish it were not so because there are parts of this game that I love and I wish it were going to be around for a long time.3 -

✭I stopped subbing in March. Happy to buy crowns when/if needed rather than be forced to pay monthly.
Don't need all the mounts/pets/book/potions etc etc - just the content.

corwinDA✭Nirnhoned is not getting nerfed its just finally getting coded correctly. It was never ment to do what it does now and it just took them a year and a half to "fix" it. Which is par for the course on this games hot fixes since you still cant go through a trial without at least half the runs health bars getting glitches. We should see that do about 2017ish I guess.2

I subbed yesterday, so that balances out you're unsubbing.
Stam builds and tanking still works well, just adapt and overcome.
Zeni has along term plan, I'm not privy to it, however if they don't lose focus too much, the game might turn out to be one of the best out there.

Swindy✭✭✭I'm no expert here, & I've never even seen Nirn gear, yet my stamblade finds that if he repeatedly sticks enough pointy-sharp things into the average stick waver, they do tend to either defend, or die, thus somewhat alleviating a need for Nirn gear somewhat.

Even though this isn't a quit thread and you intend to continue playing, the mods sometimes pretend it is and close these type of threads anyway because they have set up this forum in such a way that their authority and decisions cannot be publicly questioned.
No developer is going to be like "OMG Cavedog just unsubbed, I better allow nirnhoned to increase spell resist by 35% again."

Put those in your signature and encourage others to do as well. This game has taken a dark turn recently but luckily, there are some wise people still left on this forum that are making constructive threads instead of just ranting. I tend to do a bit of both so I am a terrible role model, but the threads I linked are solid.
